Here's a dull shot on the front straightaway at Laguna at the FCA event in August - unfortunately there are no classic Corkscrew shots (there were no photographers around really, not like at a race). The GTS is F-Chat's very own Luckydynes. We had a great time swapping out the "lead" during this session – we pretty much were racing each other, bending the rules of a "track day" just a tad. To our benefit, the track was pretty open – there was a single clump of contemporary cars that we'd carefully pass every lap in one swoop and then we'd mostly be on our own. It was great fun, and just cool that two 308s were pushing pretty hard out there.

There were tons of photographers at Coronado like always, and I was hoping some shots would crop up online, but I've never seen any. Every year, there is a crowd of very professional looking photogs lining the track between the last two turns as if it's a Formula 1 race, but it's a mystery what happens to all these photos, with the exception of the 10 shots that are published in the vintage racing mags.

Wow, awesome car and awesome pics, PenP!!!

Wish I could have been at the Peterson- I am in Orange County, and it's not much of a trip for me. Would have been cool to see the car in person.

Oops - not the front straightaway, but the short straight between T-10 and the treacherous 1st-gear T-11, right before the front straightaway (needed to get that in before someone else did…)

I posted this in the California section but thought my fellow GT4 owners would appreciate it too. My Dino surprised me with a Coppa di Platino award at this weekends FCA Concorso Ferrari in Pasadena.
GT4Joe gets most of the credit as Ive only owned the car for a little over a year now, but its been a great year with a fantastic car. It also has its own instagram if anyone is interested its @308GT4Dino.
on a side note, by last count there are 209 GT4 owners here on Fchat. am I the only one with a camera? lets see some pictures please!

    nice! very well done.
you couldn't do that Chanel shot with a euro bumper. US spec does have its upsides.

Hi, thanks for making me feel warm and fuzzy. I happen to like my bumpers, and way nicer than US bumpers. I will post more photos soon.

    Good day Markus,

Nice! Very Nice! What a great color combination! My GT4 had the same colors :)... but was a North American version!

    Cheers,

    Sam

I'm partial to silver over red, too. That was the color of my first GT4 (10356) back in the 1980s.

    Good day BR,

I sure do. I will have to dig them up and scan them. To me a Silver/Boxer trim GT4 is hard to beat! The interior on my old car was Burgundy and presented an excellent contrast to the exterior. Overall a very striking combination.

    Cheers,

    Sam

Very nice, I love that combination too, but my interior is not burgundy but "blood-red"

It's amazing how great looking this car is in non red. Mind you red is still nice, but seeing them in non red sure makes the GT/4 pop.
Noah, nice touch on the deep , darker reds on the GT/4 for flavor.
