Wanted to see if there are any independant techs local that can do a clutch replacement on a f430. Dealer pricing is crazy.

    recommendations appreciated.

How much did the dealer quote you? Fluid Motor Union will do it for about $1,600 if you supply the parts.

Thats really good. F said 7 for clutch and 10-12 for clutch and flywheel.

Does FMU have all the ferrari computers nessesary to do the full install?

By all means use the low bidder. It insures a quality job.

The clutch assembly is about $1.6k (shop around, call diff F dealers, cheaper than Ricambi for this part), flywheel if needed about 2k. Labor is an additional $1.6k

Fluid motor Union uses a Leonardo tool.

    What's the indy's name?
Did you get any hits when you searched them on FChat?
    Or are they relatively new?

I have had good luck with FMU with my 911 Turbo. Their prices were much better than the dealer, and I have had no problem with their work.
