I can't find any results or laptimes from the 24hr qualifying race last month, but 3 Glickenhaus cars were there http://www.nuerburgring.de/uploads/media/16-04-12_Q24h_Teilnehmerliste_01.pdf http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9J6Kqf_6TB0&feature=youtu.be Image Unavailable, Please Login
All of you really should soring the money for the dual volume edition publication from WAFT...... It's very well done, and takes you behind the scenes from the very beginning, until now. Late nights, good food, the struggle and the tears.......HINT: Some people even get fired!!!
SCG003 is an HPD V6, but Jim is also bringing the older P4/5 C in MKIII guise. That has a Ferrari V8.
Can someone find the 2016 Ring Schedule and post it here?? Ah that explains the "three cars" then! Thanks
I feel very very sorry for the accident and Jim Glickenhaus, who I had the pleasure to meet at the 2011 Concorso Villa d Èste. As a 4 times competitor of 24-hours Nürburgring and several seasons competing in the Langstreckenpokal on "fast" cars one thing mist be clear for all teamowners and drivers: The Nordschleife will not forgive any mistake, it is extremely fast and has blind trick corners. There is a constant brutal high level challenge for driver and material. Often the young - no respect showing - drivers are fast and in front of the grid like the one of the best qualified Audi this year. But those - no respect showing drivers - will not finish the race and therefore destroy the work of one year, all dreams and the unforgettable adventure in competing 24-hours Nürburgring. Jim - all the best for this Race and congratulations for the Qualifying among the works cars ! Regards Jimmy
I had a chat with Sal P4/5c needs new subframe. Car will be repaired with new bodywork front and rear.
