    Do you know for what year/model this would apply to? I've got a '78 Euro 308 and have everything but my light.

    This is the "new" plug that goes in the cigarette lighter, your '78 uses the old style "BMW" plug like this one. It plugs in under the dash and/or in the engine compartment.

    My '88 Mondial also has a "BMW" type plug in the glove box and near the battery in the front, see pic.
