I agree Mike, I do like blue in cars.
Here is a picture of my car being driven by Sandro Munari at the Balocco test track in Italy. When I rode with him we were in a drift the whole time. His shifting of the dog box was seamless. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Irish had made a separate thread about his cars at Amelia a few years back, certainly worthy of being posted again in this thread. Great stuff. http://youtu.be/***vZL4X2B4
remember the world stratos meeting in Biella 24-26 june 2016 - will be there - just bought a Stratos - untouched for 38 years - hope to meet other owners there
Yeah, what a car! Mine just arrived to the U.S. two days ago. It's not registered yet so it's just sitting in my garage but even looking at it is super exciting . When you think of it, there isn't much more than you can ask of a car - looks that still turn heads 40yrs later, amazing motorsport success (in addition to the WRC championships it's a five time winner of Tour De France, winner and runner-up of Targa Florio), Ferrari engine, rarity. Prices have gone up but I still believe that, given what it is, it's amazing value...
It is a converted car. It was pulled from the attic of a barn in Switzerland 20 years ago and had been a little wrecked from the rear clip popping open. Totally redone by the top guys in Biella. I already had the 24-valve motor and all the racing parts so Gr4 is the direction we took. I already have an unmolested stradale.
Hi here are some photos of my new car - the stratos was brought to denmark in 1977 - then raced a few races on gravel and tarmac in 1977 and eary 1978 then put on store - driven one time in the 80s - back on store untill last week when i purchased it the paint is very bad - few bad repairs on doors etc - but all is original - still on original exhaust - Aeg fuelpumps - pink magneti marelli plugs - first brakes etc - still Fiat logo on the bolts - and genuine 10490 km on the clock. the headlamps were blinded but everything is there and just need to cut open again - 2 set of wheels no no rust at all - seats and dashboard very good also will try and send more detail photos later hope you like it Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
