458 LaFerrari Bridge

Has any 458 owner ever used the so-called cup holder or has allowed a passenger to drink inside the car?

 

I use it for my Starbucks coffee , passenger .... What's that ?

 

good for holding sunglasses, when the sun does appear in Scotland

Use it all the time. Passengers...never. That's why l put lol after good luck on pssengers using it.

I use my cup holder every day. I drive my 458 e everyday. The first cup holder spot is pretty good at keeping drinks warm or cold since it has a hollow air cavity. But the forward smaller second cup holder spot isn't deep enough to hold a cup securely.

I don't know if the 'laferrari control twig' will make it harder to use the cup holder.

But I'm sure some owners are overjoyed to be able to get the twig and feel a little closer to the LaFerrari.

I'm not sure that LaFerrari owners are that happy with this news.

 

Wife uses it frequently. I do take corners much more slowly when there's a drink in the cup holder.

The Spider kit has a different set up. I saw one at the dealer when I installed mine on my 458 Italia. It will look fantastic. Your Spider will be very unique. Congrats! Please post some photos.

To each their own. I don't knock anyone that wants one but I prefer the standard setup.

 

Hmmm......see now that makes me wonder if Ferrari ever gets requests to turn the bridge on a Speciale, LaFerrari or 488 back to the way it is on a 458???

 

I paid about 3K for the CF bridge in my 488 so I guess it makes about as much sense as anything else.

Just got word that my bridge will be shipping from Scottsdale Ferrari tomorrow.

Having it put on a couple days after arrival and will post pics then.

Just got an email from Rich here at Towbin Ferrari in Las Vegas as they are installing my bridge.

He is noting that the screw in upper left is aluminum and was asking if maybe I want him to put a dab of black paint there.

I gave him the ok and will have video tomorrow when I pick it up. Here it is before touch of paint.
