The last two for sale haven't though. One barely broke 100 and the other is still for sale for $120 with no takers. Like I said before though I think it depends greatly on the finer points of the specific car just like other 355 values and if you can get it to an auction where there are two or more very interested parties.
If your friend is serious about selling it then PM me to discuss details. I'm interested but obviously need to find out more about the car and its condition.
Maybe you guys are correct. I just searched the listings, and the asking prices are way above my estimate. There's a few for $150k+, and one that's been unsold on eBay for awhile for 120k.
I can understand that. I bought my 355 based solely on styling. But I can't see that when I'm driving. And when I pull up behind a 991 I get goose bumps. Image Unavailable, Please Login
In the last 6-8 months, one of our members sold a red / tan (don't recall if gated or F1) for mid 100's IIRC. The car was listed in the classifieds...
I like the rear and rear 3/4 view of the 991. The front and front 3/4 not so much. I went on a drive with 4 other F355 and it was amazing to see what 'your car' looks like since I agree hard to see from inside. Just enjoy the driving and then reserve some stopping points to get out and shoot photos or just enjoy the view outside. Robb
I know of a red Fiorano stick that sold last year for 135k. A high mileage (45k miles) black fiorano here in AZ sold for 95k last year. All I know of. Robb
Found it... https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/496540-1999-f355-f1-serie-fiorano-rosso-corsa-tan-%7E8500-miles.html Nice example, with very low miles. Like I said, seems like my estimate was low. (I love admitting it when I'm wrong.)
Nope, not the one I was talking about. The username was something like XITV or something, I'm blowing it
Found it, although I didn't see any mention of a price in the ad. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/489940-serie-fiorano-f355-spider-rosso-corsa-tan-%2A%2A%2Arare%2A%2A%2A-6-speed-manual-gated.html
Has anyone seen this car in person? Seems like a beautiful color combination but it's been sitting for a bit....just wondering why? Unusual color? Poor condition? Thanks for any insight.... Amit
Sorry, trigger finger just a little too fast for the brain--here's the car: Cars for Sale: Used 1998 Ferrari F355 in Spider, Charlotte NC: 28217 Details - Convertible - Autotrader
Decent deal if everything checks out but looks like it's been repainted from the pictures. Could just be regular maintenance paint however with that mileage.
Notice at the bottom of the ad "$699 Adm. Fee extra". When I moved to Charlotte two years ago most of the dealers were around $349 for this "Fee". They are racing to $999 it appears, uh. Rant over, back to 355's.
I always haggle "out the door" price. I tell them i dont care if there is a $10,000 dealer fee, No games on my end, serious buyer, my offer is $xx,000 out the door. If they have the typical used car salesman attitude, I sometimes use dealers fees against them in negotiations by pointing out the shadiness of the concept, kind of shows the suck and negotiations if they have to add one of those lol.
So do I. I'm afraid it's hungry and going to eat my 993 for a snack. (pics are not my car btw) How big and bloated these have become.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
