I can pick up a set of 18" BBS Challenge wheels for $3k. My tires have a good 80% life on them. Can i just swap the tires from my Stock starfish wheels over.

Anything else to worry about, i've read up on the debate about the durability of them. I have decided that i am not worried about that part. I also know i need new center caps and I found where to procure those.

Would you think its safe to say that provided i keep them in good condition they will always be worth about 3k??

    Thanks for the feedback,
    Robert

Go to Tirerack's web site, find your tires and then look in the specs tab. It will tell you the recommended rim widths for each tire size. Those wheels are 8" F, 10.5" R.

Should work, but tires will be stretched a bit. Not sure about aesthetics...
    Yes.

That makes it what? Compared to the starfish: 1/2" wider on front? and 1" wider on rear? On second thought, as suggested by others, at least check the range of rim-widths listed for the tires you have.

Nobody, not even those people on TV who claim otherwise, can predict the future. Educated guesses? Sure. I can say that you won't lose more than $3K on them and that's not a lot of money to spend on a Ferrari ...if it makes you happy. I will also add that if you're concerned about the depreciation of used wheels you think completely different than myself.

I put my stock tyres on my challenge wheels. No problem.

Was just thinking should i keep the starfish wheels too and just flip these off when done. Thanks for the info everyone, i've confirmed the current tires will just flip right over. I'll likely keep the Starfishes as they are mint and the whole car is mint and original (except for the upgraded TCU for which i saved the original also), etc. This is just to switch it up a bit
