Anyone else order the new book by Tambay regarding his Ferrari years? Just ordered mine... hoping to get Patrick to sign it for me!

while not the most successful Ferrari driver -he was one of the nicest guys out there.

I met him briefly at a pub near Goodwood a few years ago. He was quite pleasant and was a terror on the track in an FIA Cobra.:)

What's the title of the book, Tom?

    Never mind, found it:

    Patrick Tambay: The Ferrari Years

A bit rich at $90. Maybe I'll wait for better pricing later on.

I noticed that on Amazon too. Fortunately, Book Depository or Wordery can have a copy in the US for around $50 postage inclusive.

    Hi, Marc.

Yes, I saw it on Wordery for about $55. I think I'll wait a little longer.:)

I will let you know if it is any good. Hopefully, it will be better than the follow up to Emotion Ferrari, which was pretty bad... I am in the process of reading Vignale: Ferrari and all the Others and am enjoying it thoroughly. It was written by Alfredo Vignale's nephew and has a warm and familiar feel to it. If you liked Lancia and De Virgilio, you would likely enjoy this book too.
