As 'traveller' would say someone has been playing with the color settings yet again. It is the same tdF seen recently with the black stripes on the hood and the red accents on the wheels. That high angle view really shows off those tdF design features in a way seldom seen.
    Thanks TSOYBELIS

Yes but for that candy apple effect I think you need to go for the triple layer paint. I used to have a scuderia that looked like that.

Rosso Fuoco is a triple layer red. Nuovo Rosso F1 is a four layer paint which is what I think you had on your Scuderia.

Thank you. I stand corrected. Yes I do recall the scud was something to do with an F1 color so you are probably right.

No problem. With all the colors they offer its really hard to keep it straight.

    NO Kidding!
The old 250 that Mark shared looks like rosso rubino paint. It is a later single louver version. The early cars back in 1957 had fourteen louvers in the sail panel behind the side windows...
On a side note the installation of a new windshield in those tdf models can be a real paint in the glass!

Ahahahah "Garde la foi frerot" we have the same exact expression in popular franch language...

Your stripe is different ____ (May I ask your first name ? We are almost buddies now ahah)

it will work. What I don't like is the stripe stopping at the edge of the hood, and the the small grey stripes at each side of the main stripe.

Your full lenght stripe and the general Blue + Silver theme will be great. I especially want to see the interior in flesh

The 250 tdf from 1955 onward was built with a wheelbase of 2600mm or for our American friends 102.4 inches. 1958 California spyder also had this same wheelbase dimension.
The 1961 250 SWB was 2400mm or 94.5 inches as was the 1963 250 Berlinetta Lusso model. Most famous is the 250 GTO which also had the same 2400mm wheelbase. This was the standard dimension in this early 1960's period. Interestingly when the 250 GTO was replaced by the 250 LM with the engine behind the driver the wheelbase was still the same at 2400mm. Ferrari was very consistent in these dimensions.

Haha. I knew you were made of stronger stuff! I specced the stripe FRB in your honour (ok, that's a stretch but it still has French in the title). As it happens sitting at CdG now in the quite superb Cathay Lounge heading back to the UK. Been in Paris on business. Returning to Paris next week - same client - for the joys of Poissy. My dealer had the request from the factory yesterday for me to sign off the spec so I might even make the pre summer cut. Thought it was going to be an October delivery. I can't wait to see the interior in the flesh too!
