Yellow is the official color of Ferrari. It's on the logos, the flags, and part of its history.

I never thought I would buy a yellow car, and it really depends on the car model and its lines.

I think it looks fantastic on smaller cars and reveals faults on larger cars. But see it in person and you will be pleasantly surprised. I saw a Giallo Modena car next to a NART blue and Rosso Corsa pair of cars. You'll enjoy the comparison.

I live in AZ where it fits in just fine although you just don't see many yellow cars normally.

It always puts a smile on my face and all the people around the car. You can't really think bad thoughts about an owner in a yellow car. You also need to figure out if you can "pull off" yellow like can you pull off that suit... It fits some better than others. :)

    Try one on.

I recently saw a chart that showed the percentages of each color sold each year. Yellow has gained year after year and may soon overtake red as the number one color that new Ferraris are ordered in.

While I know it will never happen, I look forward to seeing a Ferrari F1 car once in my lifetime with a yellow Livery...

    Maybe for the 100th anniversary.

IMO yellow looks better than red on those models but you'd better be ready to get noticed. The only thing that commands more attention than a red Ferrari is a yellow Ferrari. I'm a low key guy, so yellow is not a color I'd shop for.

Yes, it locks on top of the engine cover. Its made from carbon fiber, weighs 17 lbs so its an easy 1 man operation.

Thanks for the comments on the wheels, which are my all-time favorite.....really pricey too.

That is a factory specced car. A well known collector always orders his cars with the same theme. No, he's not affiliated with Ronald.

OP, if you need to think about it, I'd move on. I'd hate to buy an Fcar and always second guess my color choice.

This color is breathtaking in the sun. It's by far the most amazing color of yellow on a car.

You can add some CF pieces from one of our sponsors if that's all that's holding you back.

I buy used so I buy cars not colors.
That said my first 911 was yellow.
    Took some getting used to.
    Ended up loving it.

Shoulda bought a 360CS in yellow a year ago but had agreed at the time to another car that eventually evaporated.

If its a good car at a good price do it.

I had a yellow 308 and now have a yellow 456. I have also owned a red Ferrari, which was gorgeous, but I absolutely love these cars in yellow.

Can you post a picture(s) of your yellow 456? I haven't seen one in that color before. Thanks!

When I was looking for my 458 I told my salesman anything but red or yellow. My reasoning is everyone that drives a Ferrari has a red one. I didn't want a yellow one because I didn't want to be " that guy" in the yellow Ferrari. Guess what? I saw a yellow one and fell in love. I had to have it and have it I did. Just went on a trip with fellow F Chatters all of their cars were red. I stuck out and loved it. Guess what I am " that guy" in the yellow Ferrari and I love it. Every time I see the car I love it all over again. Thats what you need to find. The car you love don't discount colors or options. Find the car you love and buy it.
