This car is amazing in person. Not just one but two today. One in RC and one in 2007. Sorry about the iPhone pics. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks heaps. Some of the later tdf bodies looked "shorter" but it must be just my own perception. Still learning about the vintage world. Back on topic, very unique spec: https://www.facebook.com/FerrariF12TourDeFrance/posts/529771517184294:0

the shields are just ridiculous. I tried to like those red wheels but I can't. Ditch the shields and throw some black wheels and you'll obtain a perfect Tdf...Imo I watched the pics again... Are you serious dude ? "Black legend" ... Oh my god
Agreement except make the wheels normal color please. Im with the anti black hole brigade. Mr. Mann's car is gorgeous!
''Like'' the shields, as they are pretty bad ass. Hate the wheels. Good god are those wheels ugly! I think only one car has ever pulled off odd coloured wheels and that's the 997.2 GT3 RS. I think this one would actually be great in all black everything, with the shields.
It proves, once again, that wealth is not a justification for taste. Not that we all didn't already know that.

Seems the chap charters his yacht (and others?) Perhaps he purchased the tdf through the company for publicity purposes and the shields are his little billboard? If he put them on because he thought they were cool..........I'll pass from chartering his yacht, I can only guess he has BL stamped on everything in the boat, the toilet rolls too. Different.
More mundane first-world matters. I've been quoted 9504 GBP inc VAT for full carbon to the engine. Last chance to tweak spec. I can't bring myself to do it. There, I said it
You must! Every time you walk by it, it will nag at you. I get the only people that will see it are the people servicing it but going with a custom stripe, it doesn't make sense to go all the way.
Look at it the way I have when I closed my eyes and ticked those boxes. Ferrari have just given you a huge wodge of free cash-give a tiny bit back to them and never have any regrets.
