Not to my eye! There is just so much going on heightened by the strong colour contrast that it just becomes confused, detracting from the overall design. And then of course there's the black holes....... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great points you make! However Ferrari gave out a sample of the color to review it's suitability so likely available for other customers to order for their car to. I actually prefer this color which appears less flat looking IMHO> Image Unavailable, Please Login
Absolutely! Maybe it is starting to become popular but wouldn't you think it's a bit too soon to see it in a repainted Maranello? Makes more sense in the Tailor Made California but then again where does it say it's Blu Ahrabian?
That is what is so odd. I bothered to even take my sample to the Carribbean to see if maybe harsh sunlight might create the change and yet all that happened was the metalflake became more apparent. Neither the 575 nor the Cali are BA, nor the F12, I am positive. The blue above is Blu Electrico, very possibly belonging to a member here.
Looks like mine. Not sure what is going on with Tim's car.... I understand Tailor Made, but the colour is beyond a joke . Why does it take so long
Tim where are going to ? "I'm travelling to the caribean just to see how the paint of my upcoming limited edition ferrari will look under the sun." Sir, you are my hero.
No joking - I did actually bother to take the sample to the Carribbean as direct sunlight was in short supply here in late 2015, hoping that might explain why I could not fathom the difference between the images I had on file of the BA LF and the sample in my hand. I should point out that this was not the sole purpose of the trip! It didn't......
Struggling. It took 13 weeks to send me the wrong colour. Clearly TM is under resourced, in great demand and requires a complete overhaul. One should leave the TM studio with a neat little box containing a sample of all paint and materials chosen together with a USB stick with agreed spec. That would save everyone so much time and effort and be a great marketing tool. If necessary charge a TM fee, but at least offer a service not a log jam. Like it is is not acceptable and a missed opportunity. Upshot, my build is on hold.
Saw these 2 during the last MM during very bad weather. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Interesting stripe shape, real nice colours for a white car. Must be CGI or a model. Possibly Aluminio Opaco.
That was a Brilliant Idea ! I laughed hard at the short supply of sun in the UK... The country of the Grigio Silverstone Sky. --------------------------------- I never liked yellow for GT V12 ferraris. But this one with silver rims looks great to me. But without the red calipers. https://www.instagram.com/p/BFu38CoMW6n/
The tdf on the group pictures seems to be lowered... I'm with Garretto on the Alu. Opaco. For the last picture. For the red carbon, that's a project by this company Vitesse | AuDessus - Bespoke Handcrafted Carbon Fiber Exteriors, Interiors, Components and Monocoques They announce crazy stuff on their site but not much things in flesh.
That looks dreadful. Just mind-blowingly dreadful. This craze for "blacking out" a car and it's details and it's wheels and it's vents and it's stripes and it's grills etc etc just makes these Ferraris look like tacky and cheap. I'd feel "toe-curlingly" embarrassed driving down the street in that. And it's supposed to be one of the worlds great cars. I'm just imagining coming back from Spa after a hard day at the track and pulling up outside a coffee shop to refresh. I'd expect to have eggs thrown at me... NAFF. I'd half expect the owner to come out wearing a Ferrari tracksuit with stripes on it too. As dreadful as the Gordon Ramsay car... I'm so sorry if the owner is here. Mind you, good luck to him - as long as he's happy!
Agreed, not a surprise as by now everyone knows my black wheel hatred, but the force is strong on this one judging by the number of black rimmed tdf's and interestingly it is this model which has really brought out this fad.
