Took this picture on the day I picked up my car. Taken in early May in Canberra..that day sticks in my memory. The other one is on the way back to Melbourne from Canberra. How I loved driving the car back on the country roads in glorious autumn weather.
Whilst the colour is Rosso Corsa it has a distict orange hue to it. Black interior which I have had modified to my proffered tastes. Quilted rear shelf and red luggage straps and red seat insert. looks fabulous.

A buddy of mine is a car journo and had a new California T for a weekend so we ran up through the Dandenong hills for another great drive. The Cali really is quick and that gear change is so good. Love the open roof too. But it's still not a V12.

The car was originally nero and I am not a black interior guy. My 355 was Argento Nurbugring with a red interior. simply stunning..a spaceship. So I wanted to breakup the black with a bit of colour. Got the seats and rear straps and bar done in a red to match the car and it just makes it a bit more to my taste. I'm considering doing the arm rests and bottom door pockets as well.

I am considering changing the centre muffler for an x pipe. I don't want anything too loud so will most likely stay with the rear mufflers. Rather than buy a tubi or Capristo I was wondering if there was any reason why I couldn't get a good exhaust guy to cut the rear pipes just where they come out of the centre muffler ( there appears to be a weld here ) and make up a set of x pipes to just replace the muffler and join them to the original rear pipes. The original pipes appear to be heat shielded whilst after market ones are not, so I am concerned about that. Plus it has to be a lot cheaper. A tubi x pipe is over A$3,000 here.

Has anyone got any thoughts on this? I have spoken to my Ferrari mechanic and he doesn't see why not, but there may be issues we haven't considered.

    All thoughts are appreciated.

Allan- Very pretty interior. Send some of that rain here. So far this year, only a little over 1" of precip.

Wow, sorry, I thought El Nino would have sent precipitation your way as it did to the LA basin. Was it all blocked by the Sierra Nevadas? (My daughter was a snowboarding instructor at Timberline, about 90 minutes from our house, and they had 551" of snow this season).

As for the interior, it's really three distinct colors. The carpet was match-to-sample and judging from my kids' Crayola boxes, I'd call it "Burnt Siena."

Allan- The precip is passing both north and south of us, but our monsoon season starts this month (15 June-30 September), so hopefully things will pick up. Got hail and rain last night for an early start. For us a monsoon is 3-5" over a 3.5 month period. Average precip is a little over 9" annually in Albuquerque.

Those colors all contrast nicely in your interior.

Looks like we have nearly identical cars - I am attaching a photo of the interior of my Azzurro 575m... Thought I was the only one with this combo!
