Does anyone know where I can source a ANSA sport exhaust for a 77 308? Thanks in advance.

At the risk of asking a stupid question... did you try ANSA?

    Consumer | ANSA Automotive

They still list FE2020 in their catalog which I believe is the one you want (US model that I have is FE2040)

Well, pay attention to the market version of the car: US car with cats, or without them; or Euro...

I had one made by Mike at Timevalve mfg in Florida. Exact replica of ANSA. Made in stainless steel. I had him paint mine black to look original on my gt4.

Sure? My notes say 2020 for euro while 2040 is for NA. Mines a 2040 based on the brackets, no cats.

I would double check that. Big Tex has had three 77 cars if I recall correctly.

I know, on pretty good authority, the 2040 is the euro model for 78 & 79 that will bolt onto NA 78 & 79 cars.

ANSA got bought by a company operating in NC. I have not had any success finding what I want with them.

They once had a guy (Paul Berry) that focused on the Ferrari replacement market. They do not stock them but can jig one up fairly quickly. They once asked if they could "sell one of mine" to another customer!

I sold two of my cars, for scrap.

That drove the Market, to triple in value!!!

Thanks for the props though, I have tons of stored useless 308 knowledge.
I did make good money, on the Tool Rolls.

    Wait until my poster sale!!
Need to get them all from under the bed........

It's the USA presence of the ANSA company.

All the product (for Ferraris) is still sourced in Italy AFAIK......I have all the full line catalogs, as I am "starting over" with two FIAT Pininfarina 2000 Spiders......

I shave a crazy man every morning, usually driving while I do.....

Considering these conditions I'm thinking that's a good reason for the Virgin Mary. I will pray for her intervention, or even the Black Madonna, on your behalf, if not for your sake then those on the highways in the Houston area :):).

This is the exhaust there was on my car. It's an Euro GT4. Fits all euro carbed 308 engines, GTB GTS and GT4. There are no differences from 1977 to 1980, while there are differences between Euro and US models (don't know which they are)

    Ciao

    Abs,

How do you like the sound of your Timevalve exhaust? I am hoping for quite until high RPMs?
Did the tips fit thru your USA Dino GT4 rear valance (diaper) without modifications? Is the black heat paint holding up? How is the quality of Michael's work...is he an artist?

    Thank you.

    Lor

Lor, As far as sound goes. It sounds slightly tighter and a bit deeper. It is real close to the way it was. Though I only drove it afew miles before I pulled the motor. So im not sure about the paint but he assured me it would be fine. Anyways the system is simple to remove if needed to be repainted/polished. It fit perfectly in the diaper. The work is good. just a lot of slag on some of the tight bends. Mike is the greatest guy ive dealt with on my project really. But Be4 sure he knows what exact brackets are on your car. there are different types on the gt4. I ended up sending him my ansa to copy. Only thing wrong was that one mounting hole on the flange was a 1/2 inch off. but it loks killer. Btw he makes his with the ribbed muffler. I had mine made smooth to look like the ansa. Though I do like the ribbed one better. If for some reason Mike needs dimensions or hole spacing off of mine have him call me. My system is off the car right now and will be for a long time,

I believe it should...the Euro carbed cars were unchanged THRU 1980.

So, I would think it the same unit....
