He's never portrayed behavior like it before 2 weeks ago so willing to let it slide, and I'm making an educated guess that this quote (big balls) is said in jest, with a big aussie smile on his face.

No, the top 10 qualifying positions have their tyre choice locked, not the top 10 starting positions, and Kimi qualified 7th. The grid penalty is added onto his qualifying position. So Kimi starting in 11th place has his tyre choice locked, whilst Bottas now starting in 10th place gets a free choice of tyres.
He said 'thank you guys' on the radio first. Dan Ricci is a good driver and has every right to show is 'balls'. It takes a pair to get it right in the confines of Monaco. Good for him.
They didnt see it coming. The year has been all Mercedes until Spain. A touch of taking it for granted all focused on 'we need a clean race' Ferrari only to see that the real threat is the Bull
Hope you get proven Wrong As long as Lewis beats Nico without incidence I'll be happy +1 well said Thanks
Can't wait for the race, looks like if dry it's a possible Ricciardo win, and in the wet, well, anything is possible! At least 2 safety cars should mix things up. How about the Force India guys today, not bad. Medium day for Haas, again not in Q3, but 12/15 for a first year team not so bad. Nasr and Verstappen starting at the back, it's going to be a long day for them. I think there is just enough room at the St. Devote run-off for both MB guys to just park it in there on lap 1 and call it a day a-la Spain!
Watching the SKY TV coverage, the telling thing with Vettel was - He said less than Kimi did after qualifying!
Ian and Bas, *Please* don't refer to other members as idiots or it will result in time off from the forum. All the best, Andrew.
Agree. Everyone is entitled to their opinions- but when they don't agree with me, they are simply wrong.
I (& I'm sure Bas also) apologize. As noted many times, 'ignore' works well, until they get quoted..... Helluva lap, for sure. Very, very impressive. Wouldn't mind seeing him take it. Much better than another Merc walk in the park at the least. Cheers, Ian
Sadly i will miss the race tomorrow...hope i can have some fun reading you guys later....if i have wifi i willtry toread..hope for a Merc clash at the start!!
Inspired to do Q2 on Super Sorts, so he's the only one in the top 10 starting on that compound and from pole. Honestly, as long as he comes out of turn 1 ahead of Rosberg, it's in the bag. At the very least, barring any serious mishaps, I'd say he's going to get a podium. All the best, Andrew.
Andrew, have you seen the weather forecast - if anyone is starting on their Q2 tyres I will the entire meteorological professional to be sacked! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
