I would guess the reserve is 225 to 250.

I would never sell at $250K but hey, that's between the seller and the buyer :)

you wouldn't sell a car that needs $100K+ in work for $250K?

Well, come to think of it, I might not either, given the state of the market.

Who knows, time will certainly tell.

Not a lot of action so far.

Initially I thought higher, but some of the comments made me wonder if I was giving this car too much credit.
What are your thoughts on the sagging bumpers? As it has been mentioned that they are the wrong bumpers, are the attachment points or method somehow different in a way that is not allowing them to be level?

Bumper alignment isn't usually an issue. Just a loosen a couple of bolts and adjust. The bumpers and the car are rare and worth a lot. Normally on 206's, L-Series and really early M-Series. Personally I would keep them on the car as they look great!

I would keep them also, it just seems weird that they didn't adjust them if it was a simple thing to do.

Yes, time will certainly tell. My experience watching BAT auctions is that most of the bids come in the last 4 hours. There is now a second bid at $180K and this may be a strategic move to block other bidders at this new higher level given one's estimate of how much more money may need to be invested in the car including a tolerance for the financial risk involved. I can't tell if there is a reserve or not from a quick read, but would think so. Also, some of the "handles" in the BAT comments section look similar to ones seen on FChat.

    Cool.

I think this car is a deal at $180K, not so much at $250K, and certainly not north of $250K at all.

Dino prices (and several other F cars, along with a smattering of Porsches as well) are in for an adjustment, I'd hate to be on the wrong side of that.

Are there any other Dino GT's on the market below $250K or any known recent sales?

The car seems very useable as is. Yes it needs work over time, but the market doesn't seem to price in the cost of a restoration for a condition 3 car versus a condition 1 car. If it did, many cars would have a negative value. I would be surprised if this car sold for less than $250k and the market still seems to be stronger than that for Dinos I've seen trade recently.

    Has the world gone mad?

This car has needs. Not minor needs, major needs. Does no one care? These aren't 250GTOs.

I am gonna sit back and see where the auction leads. I'm also gonna look for some comps, but I just can't see this car as a $275-300K car.

At 180, I would start trying to figure out how I could buy it, so I know it is going higher.

I can find cars for sale at $287,500. Auction results from the last year I have seen $297,000. Hagerty says condition 4, which this is not, is $265,000 and condition 3, which I believe this is, would be $305,000.

    Question.

Sixth from the last photo, the spare wheel, has "Ferrari" on it as well as Cromo and Dino. Is that unusual?
