Does anyone know if the US version Mondial QV, specifically a 1983, can be fit easily with the cleaner looking rear valence panel of the EU model? The US version has a black, vented panel, that I'd like to replace with the solid, clean look of the EU model. Thanks for feedback.

I'm going to guess - the catalytic converters get so hot that designer had to incorporate "air slots" to help expell or vacuum the heat out.

EU models do not have these. That's why we call them here naked bottoms. In the US it has the nikname diaper. Personally I like the naked ones :)

you will be altering the rear underbody and you will need part 61034600. If you plan to change it you will need also rear foglights since the hole for it are precutted.

The same one is here on Ebay. It's a realiable seller and I bought several parts from him via his website.

I actually would change it to EURO style. :) It's not that much work.

Any photos of you car on the ground from the rear, I really like the way that looks!
