I wanted a stick shift, rwd, light weight car that I could do track days in. I was thinking about a 1990-1994ish Miata but ended up getting the Honda....

 

Here's my '98 M3 Conv 5MT ... getting 18 years of crud removed.

This detailer is one serious professional. Car will be back to showroom condition - it's incredible to watch the transformation.

Thanks! Mother Nature has blessed us with an abundance of rain (for some, too much rain) this spring and cooler than normal temps...T

 

Can you maintain that all year long or does it typically turn brown as the year progresses?

 

In a typical Texas summer, our lawn is brown. But, we don't water our lawn, only the roses. Grass is a weed IMO and I don't like encouraging the growth of weeds! 😃 To keep on topic, same spot, but with my Porsche!

Thanks. It's a great car. 2+ years, 22+K miles. Not bad for a weekend fun car. 😀 Last weekend was the first time I drove it back to back with my new Cali. They're both great fun in different ways. I'm a lucky cat...T

Thanks Andrew. I think most think it's just a W124 with a big engine, but thanks to Porsche engineering, the driving feel is completely different to the standard W124. It just feels special. I remember driving it for the first time and it felt like nothing I've ever driven before and that's coming from someone that has owned a lot of Benzes. I still feel those memories when I drive it. It's cool the car that is still under the radar. It seems only real car guys know what it is. I get approached occasionally from people who know what it is and they love to talk about the car.

 

Didn't know Porsche built Benzes. For 20+ years that car looks pretty cherry...T
