Mick, thanks for launching this effort so many years ago.

I'd love to be reconnected with ANY information on my car - original books/manuals, repair receipts, registration information, speeding tickets, insurance records, ANYTHING at all, because I've been able to trace very little of its provenance since acquiring it 3 years ago.... My car is:

September 1988 Ferrari 328 GTS serial number 78698
Originally Fer Grigio Met 700C; changed to Nero somewhere in its lifetime
    Grigio interior

    Many thanks!

Does anyone have any idea why a warrant and service book would go missing? It's unusual. I have the leather poach but not there. I read that some previous owners keep them? Is this true?

Often when a car was out of warranty, owners thought that the book had no further value and threw it away. The smallest items are the easiest to lose.

I'm so, so late to the party, but hoping to find any info, books, tools, etc for my '66 330 GTC, car #8995, sold originally to Milan, Italy, and purchased by me from Bruce Snowden in Windsor, Canada, Dec, 2004.

Just as a fun aside....About 7 years ago, we adopted 2 little orange kitties from the SPCA. They looked (and still do) very, very similar. When we took them to our vet for their first checkup, the vet said they looked so much alike that he couldn’t tell them apart. So, he decided to do their exams and set up charts using their SPCA registration numbers. The first boy was “number 8995” the exact VIN of my ‘66 Ferrari 330 GTC, so we named him “Enzo”! The second boy was named Colombo for Ferrari’s famed engine designer! (When Colombo fell through the second floor railing to the stone floor below and emerged unscathed and nonplussed, we began to call him “Mr. Tough Boy” or “Toughie”). s
