Best he's dressed in a long time........ Bambi, on his way to the slaughter from Nico in Canada I hope (I'd hope it would be vettel or Kimi, but who am I kidding)
I'm telling you... love him or hate him.... No one in F1 gets the number of likes he does with every photo be posts. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yet not from f1 fans I'm guessing, just from the kind of people that are into social media, and I get the impression they aren't exactly all scientists and philosophers!
OK THAT'S IT ! Drawing new young people into the sport ! How much more of this are we expected to take ? Got off my lawn !!!!
Drawing people into the sport? Really, how are they following f1, cos the viewing figures are falling at a massive rate, not increasing. I think they are more interested in some of the celebrity friends he has, and the great lifestyle, I doubt the f1 actually makes much of a difference to anyone
I liken the Hamilton effect to the Kardashian effect; famous for being famous more than anything else.
They used to say about Brooklands "The Right Crowd and no crowding". I wish so much they could say the same about F1. It's turning into a circus now.
So now Hami is at fault for the falling figures ? What next; global warming ? How many would even know F1 existed ? What do you think the figures would look like without new people at least getting a taste ?
I will just leave this here.. Justin Bieber, Formula 1 Driver Lewis Hamilton Are Basically BFFs | Rolling Stone
Twisting words again...It was mentioned that it is Hamilton who helps F1 with his popularity but apparently following him on Instagram/Twitter/Whatever/#blessed does not mean they follow F1 or F1 has any benefits of his worshippers...So Hamilton is neither "good" nor "bad" for F1, he is just another (successful) driver...
F1 views are declining but that does not mean Hamilton is not having a positive influence. All exposure is good exposure. F1 is declining inspite of hamiltons positive influence. Blame pay tv **** rules and ****ty hybrid formula The more mega star drivers the better. Even if they hang out with Bieber the more mainstream f1 becomes the better
Look....a meeting of the OOFWPP...International Order of Odd Fellows with Polarizing Personalities or perhaps one half of a new "Boy Band"....someone call Simon Cowell...
