Red stripe on the dark tdf, I would have continued it to the lower flanks of the front just like the vintage examples, looks unfinished like this. The matt tdf is Rosso Dino Opaco, I have been reported. Avorio big, big thumbs up! Chiron, I don't get it, I don't get Bugattis... impressive cars but nearly every other supercar does it better for me.
It is my understanding that this colour is called Giallo Solare... not quite sure where does the 'Lady Gaga' come from
That looks fabulous. That classic color really suits the TdF. Would love to see the interior. Not crazy about the stripe, but then it's not my car. As long as the owner likes it, that is all that matters. 😀 T
This is how it would look like: 1/43 Looksmart Ferrari 599 GTO 2010 Avorio / Matte Grigio Silverstone Leather | eBay If anyone has any pics of an avorio 599 GTO than please let me know! Avorio can look very Ivory/yellowish in certain pics. Only other official shade of avorio I have found is avorio Safari which is really lemonish as opposed to Ivory. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/vintage-thru-365-gtc4-sponsored-vintage-driving-machines/479653-history-avorio-livery.html Occasionally I found a shade in between avorio and white but may be a custom mix. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/143722995-post510.html Another of the tdf: https://www.instagram.com/p/BGE8tdXBoe0/?hl=en
The opaco paints are certainly getting better and better. I thought it was going to be a temporary trend but looks like they are here to stay.
I agree Azzurro Dino is a special classic color which I to enjoy seeing on more models. There are a couple of the Speciale in that color including one with a gold and white stripe effect.
Lolo blue is a one off color that changes with the light. Much brighter in this sunny picture. Would make an interesting color for an F12 tdF also... Image Unavailable, Please Login
in french slang Lolo means "Boobs"... that color name sounds really awful for me. But i like the color in itself. Looks like Blu Elettrico

Cool. Having rolled my eyes several times, I quite like the Italian stripe. The range of specs being used on the tdf is marvellous. Someone will need to make the ultimate collage when the beauties are all out. On Chaussures wonderfully bold car, I wonder whether Neil will use a front plate and if he does, where the hell he places it?
I think you are absolutely spot on. On some many models we see very beautiful greys and reds but on the tdf, customers are really taking some exciting risks and hence some really terriffic variety, and judging by what I saw at TM, more to come. Personally, I don't go for Chassures red stripe, it's just not for me, but I celebrate the fact he had the balls to do it. Same will happen with my own car. For those like Chausseures and yourself who love stripes, you will look at mine and think 'dull, would have been better with a stripe' but then we spec for ourselves. I should also say that it seems impossible to put a bad spec on this car. Whilst I have seen schemes I like more than others, I don't think I can recall one in which the car looked bad (always a risk mine could be the first!). Imagine if we all chose grey with black leather.
After a ridiculously long and unnecessary struggle, looks like it. Should confirm to the factory Monday.
