488 GTB and Spider Picture Thread!

Saw one at my dealership Wednesday. Colour looks great. It's darker than I thought when in lower light. Lots like TDF does in the sun when Blu Corsa is in the shade. I didn't get a chance to see it outside in the sunlight.

As I said I love your interior, different and good looking.

I have to say, though, I don't like the signatures. I think it's weird having any parts of your car scribbled all around, even worse over gloss CF. Would piss me big time if I wanted to buy as second hand. Maybe it's me that I'm weird

 

Wonderful spec on this blu corsa example with dark sport sills and silver on the wheels plus the calipers to. Someone has been paying attention! Any more pictures showing the back?

Been pondering over my Spyder spec, and am having a carbon dilemma. I see that on Trax's car the rear ducts in carbon are specified, and I agree that std. black plastic finish is rather plain. On the spider that then leads to the b post option in carbon too. The vents on the sides and fog light are next. Then stop I think.

Interior, the aluminium on the 488 seems slightly more tinted compared to 458 and I think looks very smart. But as soon as you plonk a carbon steering wheel with Led's it seems a little random , as there is no other carbon.

So, any comments welcome, have looked at as many photos as possible and there seems little commonality. The last Ferrari test Spyder has ever carbon option as one could imagine. What are the thoughts of others ? All or nothing ?

 

Agreed on the interior, had all carbon interior is much better, I had carbon wheel and non carbon pedal shifters...and non carbon interior, not as nice but acceptable.

Exterior, I had it built with almost every carbon possible but I was turned by other builds online and seen in person, I really liked the clean look in white exterior and no carbon outside.

 

I ended up doing all carbon inside and no carbon outside. No regrets at all.

 

Has anyone on FC specced their 488 Spider in Blu Elettrico? Does anybody have pictures of one? I bet it looks as good as Blu Corsa.

I'm not sure if this helps your interior dilemma, but you may want to consider black carbon with the matt finish instead of shiny. Your dealer should have samples. It's a more muted look and won't contrast the aluminum as much.

 

My last 458 had every carbon option available but this time the only CF I did was the racing seats and the LED wheel. The interior parts are more of a dark brushed metal color and look really great. The LED wheel does not stick out but looks great with it. That said all around carbon looks good as well. I have lots of photos on here if you want to see them.

It is my understanding that these 2 color names are the same blue.
Can anyone confirm?

Totally different shade of blue than Blu Corsa.

 

I believe Blu Corsa is a metallic, whereas Blu Elettrico is a tri-layer non-metallic. They can look similar in certain lighting conditions, but are quite different in real life.
