Very true. I just try not to get all wrapped up in the fanboys. Hamilton is British and so is most of the F1 press. Obviously they all think he is the best ever and slob his knob. The Brits are funny, just ignore it.

Also, it's TIME FOR KIMI TO GO. The guy does not have it anymore. Literally no reason for Ferrari to keep shelling out big $$$$$ to keep him around. He's had a solid career but the speed just isn't there.

I'v said it before and stand by it

    Ferrari is clueless!!!! :)

One hand does not work with the other
They need a complete revamp of the team. Dismiss everyone and start from scratch with people that like to work together.

They are so caught up in their lies and BS stories they don't even know the truth anymore.

Sure I want them to win but really not much of a fan due to their administration on all levels.

    :)

+1 better more hungry talent out there. That matters more than keeping Vettel at 'peace' This is not Woodstock. I could care less how much peace there is. We need a young capable driver to push, really push Vettel. It is racing not a Sunday Brunch!!

Well as Ferrari like to over pay for their number 2 drivers, perhaps they would like to offer Nico a job? He's surplus at Merc...

Kimi is the surplus it seems. Mercedes want to keep Nico(per the press), who is not having a bad year at all. Kimi has how many wins lately LOL!!??????

I agree. Kimi has become Massa. Time for him to go…

Wouldn't it be amusing to see Alonso in Red? That would get the Forum properly fuming with excitement...

Kimi has become Massa? I think he's become worse than that. Massa is still consistent in a car that's not consistent.

I'm staggered that the interviewer felt compelled to apologise on behalf of Nico when he said "pissed off"

That really bugged me, for some reason.

That would be very interesting to watch. Calculated vs raw talent.

Car flattered nobody until Hamilton joined MB.

Remember how everybody called him crazy for doing that?

Great drivers also pick the right team at the right time. Alesi got talent for driving but not more

I'm not sure Hamilton could have predicted the enormous engine power advantage Mercedes have enjoyed over this formula. I think it more likely that he knew McLaren were starting a downturn and so jumped ship when he could.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Well, call him lucky or call him genius. Fact is that he always ended up with the right team. Not even Alonso can say that.

He's obviously smarter than you, because you said on numerous occasions that Mercedes would never get anywhere......as always, the people we talk about know a lot more than we do.

as for Alonso.....Like the other drivers, he believes the BS the teams tell him about how good their car will be. In Lewis' case, they were right....and McLaren was nowhere anyway.

Ferrari seems to a bit too preoccupied with the Mercs. engine power and what Merc is doing. Their trying to win the race from the pitwall.

    They should've let Vettel race.

Ofcourse Hamilton didn't know that. Nobody could predict the outcome of the new engine formula and how the opposition dealt with it.

Besides I even believe the story was that Hamilton wanted to drive for Redbull, they were the dominant team before the new engine formula.

And it's very clear that if either Alonso or Vettel would've been in Hamiltons seat, either one of them won the 2014 and 2015 wdc.

Don't count Seb out. We're only 7 races into the season and it seems Ferrari and RB are getting stronger. Once they get tire strategies and pit stops squared away, I think it'll be one hell of a title fight.

That's because he was at the right place at the right time. Merc today is full of talented engineers. Remember all those bad luck Michael used to have? Silly pit errors, etc? Well i think at that time, Merc were in the process of building. Neither Michael or Nico set the world on fire at the point of time.

And, i doubt the driver contributes that much these days. It's more of the engineers and designers who do 90% of the job. Fernando would have been 6 times champion today if testing was allowed, me thinks.

Totally agree, Alonso is the most accomplished of all the drivers, but contracts are contracts, so we don't get to see his talent at the moment. When testing was allowed a driver could impact on performance on race days, but he can't anymore, simulators are no replacement for the real thing, so they just have to turn up and drive what they get, good or bad
