Seems to be the day for them...the "for sale" ad is also a winner. Surprisingly both are by brand new "members"...
So it's been wrecked? 😁 Before people quote me, it's a joke. Montoya was terrible in F1. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I worked on Juan's pit crew when he was with Ganassi. I am sure I can get him to use my money, buy a new one, drive it for a week and then hand it back to me. If I can get that kind of money, I am gonna retire soon. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Unless JPM did something super crazy when I wasn't looking, I don't think the five thousand thousand is the price. It has to be the miles. Yup, 5,000,000 miles is right. Or is that kms?
It has to be the price, it doesn't have shields and it's a stick!!!111!!! Either that, or JPM comes with it as a houseboy for that price??
If this was the same car, Juan didnt like it and didnt drive it much. http://jalopnik.com/5611548/-juan-pablo-montoya
Here's a professional review of the car in question by its previous owner. As a 360 owner, I am both entertained and appalled. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Perhaps due to the "road-hugging weight" of the user?? LOL Jimpo, that's a nice template!! You forgot the "RARE, stick!!!111!!!" though. The VIN plate puzzles me a bit. 130394 as shown on data tag should be a early-mid 2002 production car. My late production 01 Maranello built in Nov 01 126xxx, and my 360 spider 129250 that was a April production 02 IIRC. Since it was not a new model, they wouldn't have built an '03 that early, so I'd be interested to see build date since '03 VINs hit with after break builds usually. Doesn't matter when titled, but 130394 doesn't seem to fit into '03 VIN's. If only there was some way to see the build tag on the driver's side door jamb....
It's an interesting question. I have 550 Maranello 125727 which is a very late 2001 and 360 Modena Coupe 130134 which is one of the very last 2002 360's built. I used to think that it was THE last 2002 made but when I did a little research, that was incorrect. It would be right that the 130394 is a very early 2003 but you would have to either own a late 2002 car or be Carbon McCoy to know that offhand. And yes, that review was probably when JPM was at peak "road hugging weight."
Also keep in mind that "driver forward" position required by a person of shorter stature would move the 50/50 weight distribution towards the front.
Pretty funny, your 550 is very similar to my old one. There were 575's showcars with lower Vin than mine, but she wasn't the last. I was moron to let it go, sniffed at the other one here that's also a late, Titanio/modular/charcoal/no shields. Wonderful car, as was my 360. They make little anymore of interest, my Speciale was very special, but rest of stuff leaves me cold. You have a very nice pile, nice taste, and you use your cars. Props. The VIN on 130394 must be really early 03, but I'm interested to know build month. I've also discovered the summer alignment crew at times has started vacation early, and not one fnck given to whether wheels pointed in same direction or not. Nearly stuffed my Superamerica under braking on way home from pick-up because of that and lousy PDI by dealer.
