That's organized by Ed Solstad, a good guy and long time Alfa enthusiast. I might be up for a drive down the same roads next weekend but the whole timed rally thing doesn't interest me.

I signed up. A friend sent it to me. He is going to be my navigator (I'm sure he will drive as well).

Seems like a really fun way to spend the day.

Agreed not really into the TSD rally thing, but from their meetup page: "or just ignore the timing and drive it as one of the best tours that you’ve driven"

I think I'll sign up to support their efforts and just enjoy a drive. Sounds like there will be at least one other F-car there and it would be cool to see some Alfa's also.

I didn't go, I kept pulling up the weather and it said large hail, damaging wind, and possible tornado.

I drove down to Maiden Rock and back. Nice drive on 35 in WI. I was back and parked by 3PM (when the bad weather was to hit).

Bad weather all went north of the cities.

Yup. I was watching the weather and also decided not to go in the end. Plus, without functioning A/C it was a little on the warm side for a coupe with a black interior. Guess, I'm a wimp :)

In a couple weeks a few of us will be making a similar drive down to Pepin for lunch. Some nice driving roads around there. I'll keep you posted.

The Coulee Classic has been rescheduled for August 6th, per Mr. Solstad.
