    That statistic will soon change in NOLA. The car was delivered in blue, (I believe Tahiti Blue) and we have plans to do a nut and bolt restoration in house bringing it back to its' original color.
    Does your build sheet specify a color Joe?

    PPG 2.463.739 Blu Tahiti Metallizzato was a standard color on the factory color-chart that anyone could order a Downdraft in, so there are a few...

    IMHO the Countach is one of those cars that looks good in absolutely any color, I like them all, including Blu Tahiti.

    After Thursday I'll have another series of update images.

    Its a big day as I'm finally taking all the components which I have personally prepared, plus the entire interior, all the lighting, switches, sport exhaust, and lots of small detail cosmetic finishing items.

    I feel like we are making good progress with the project, and best part is ahead.

    The scope of the project has been basically everything that is part of the car, without cutting corners and overlooking many things, as some restorers seem to do.

    Progress notes are:

    Interior in Panna leather complete and ready for installation

    Engine overhauled and serviced, plating, correct hoses, clamps, etc

    Gearbox overhauled & resealed, casing refinished

    Paint in Bordeaux Speciale completed after bodywork (metal repairs, sills re-aligned & straightened, fiber glass repair, exhaust shield repaired)

    Wheels refinished in Oro

    Suspension overhauled

    Brakes overhauled with new hard lines, booster & master refurbished

    Gauges refurbished & recalibrated

    Exhaust special-ordered to spec and headers refurbished

    Wiring organized & cleaned, routing laid back in refurbished interior

    Glass windows all polished as-new

    Alpine electronics refurbished parts for fitting back in the vehicle

    I'm sure I'm missing many things, but this is a good summary for now. Unfortunately I haven't been able to share images of everything above, but I hope to remedy that soon. Post-restoration vehicle shake-down and testing, adjustments & tuning will be a process, one that I hope to involved in as much as possible.
