They look a little too refined to be configurator images.

Those shots are definitely real (there are telltale signs that I see as a CGI artist myself) but the other shots have a feel to the lighting that reminds me of the results you get from a particular render engine called Maxwell. It has a very 'quiet' quality to it. I may be wrong, though.

Stunning dash, either way. This car is a triumph for Ferrari.

I am finding I want a GTC4 . I was waiting for F12M, but I am sure in UK we are not going to see actual cars until well into 2018. Interior of GTc4 is beautiful . I love the material contrasts and there is no need for lots of carbon. Whilst FF has now held up well in Uk at 3 or 4 years old (say 150k gbp) GTC4 is still going to be a major hit at 12 months, But.. that is the Ferrari drug. I was unsure about design at first but more and more I think it is lovely. I also recall, every FF owner I know absolutely loves the slightly left field car.

Gentlemen , V8 Lusso is officially confirmed by a Sr Ferrari contact , it's coming in 4 to 6 months, not sure about where it will be offered, but it seems that it will be available in all markets and positioned as a different proposition..

Seems you were right. Ferrari Corporation has arrived.

PS. I was just being clear that it's really not a 4WD, it doesn't drive like a truck, an audi or a lambo.

    Very well put...

A V8 Lusso would complement my manual 612 much better than a used FF, the Lusso interior is much nicer and the exterior less original but probably much better sorted out (still waiting to see the car in real vs dubious pics). I wonder if the V8 can be specced nice but lightly for around $250k. I don't need 4WD (I have a Macan turbo and won't change the wheels of the Lusso in the winter) and might not need AWS...

I have spent time on the dealer configurator however Ferrari has yet to update their dealer's systems with the latest available options.

So far I was not convinced about the Lusso vs FF but the Lusso looks very good in these on road pics. The real test of course will be to see one in person but these pics have started to sway me towards the Lusso. The interior is a big step up, to me it looks like the best interior I have seen on any luxury car. A perfect mix of leather, metal and technology. The other thing I have noticed is that with the Lusso there is absolutely no need to specify any CF, this interior is made for metal and leather. I am not a fan of Ferrari recycling old names blatantly but this is a real Lusso car.

Very much in agreement, the exterior is growing on me all the time, the more colour variations I see the more i appreciate it. I also don't think the car needs carbon apart from the maybe the steering wheel.

The video shows some nice exterior and interior shots of the Lusso.

The announcer is a bit of an amateur, making mistakes and reading clumsily from notes!

The white Lusso in the video looks very very good. I must say it is a nice step up visually to the FF, no disrespect meant. I'm sure this new car has tons of options making it look so good, but well done Ferrari. More cohesive than the 488.

Spent the day at Goodwood on Friday as a Guest of Ferrari and much of it sat in the Grey Lusso with Cognac and black interior.

I am now totally converted (which is just as well seeing I have ordered one), the car is stunning. The seats are perfect, the balance of the shape is better than I had perceived from my earlier viewings at Villa Erba and Modena which were all inside under strobe lights of very bright spotlights.

the interior silver bits on the dash and trim etc can be specified in dark gunmetal as a no cost option which transforms the dash and obviates any need for carbon, in my view.

plus the floor carpet now goes up and over to meet the door inner cill so you can kick it as many times as you like without fear of damaging the delicate leather that covers it in the FF.

Congrats. The cf interior is a bit much on some specs so it's nice to have another option besides the standard silver.
