That's actually very funny and clever, my compliments to you sir. I think if you reflect back on the thread you will see that my original post was meant to be humorous and perhaps stop the bickering. It seems to have worked. It's unfortunate that some of you have become personal and mean-spirited. My work is done.
I have had a couple of 348's. Pretty nice cars, A big improvement over the 328 in my opinion. You don't like the Countach, well guess what, your not the only one. Plenty of people don't like them for various reasons. My question is way are you here ? Are you looking for attention ? If you don't like the car that this thread is about, I respect your opinion, nothing personal. Why don't you just go to a thread you like ???
Soooooo.....anyways......... anybody see any interesting Lamborghini auctions coming up? That nice looking Diablo on Bring A Trailer sold for USD $148,841. Seem BAT has become a very interesting place to auction special cars. Might be the future ebay for car guys. 9600-Mile 1993 Lamborghini Diablo VT | Bring a Trailer
Quite interesting sidetrack on the countach. As for B.B, Dude, come on! she is what now 82 years old? you cant compare to 20 years old. Who in their prime would sleep with any 82 years old lady is the real question, not her looks now. She still needs some respet for the icon she was back then. One of the handful.
I have images in my head of BB on a rotisserie having a ground up restoration so she once again shines.
B-J Saturday June 25 Lot #638 1989 LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH 25TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION Details VIN ZA9CA05AXKLA12694 Exterior Color BLACK Interior Color CREAM Cylinders 12 Engine Size 5167 CC Transmission 5-SPEED MANUAL Lot #638 - Offered by Gas Monkey Garage, this Countach 25th Anniversary Edition is a very honest and highly original example. Completed during June 1989 by Nuova Automobili Lamborghini SpA at the company's storied facilities in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, it is finished in black paint over cream leather upholstery, complete with the optional rear wing and Alpine high-end audio system. Shipped new to the United States, the Countach was purchased new on October 30, 1990, from authorized Lamborghini dealer F.C. Kerbeck & Sons. The 25th Anniversary Countach, launched for 1989, celebrated Lamborghini's silver anniversary and succeeded the 5000QV as the car's triumphant final iteration, with more than 500 updates in all. Horacio Pagani spearheaded the design, including integral front-brake cooling ducts, a slightly raised nose and a new rear bumper. Lower body cladding was fitted, and the radiator air intakes behind the car's iconic scissor doors were now body-color and incorporated leading-edge strakes. Suspension updates and new Pirelli P-Zero tires enhanced the car's already massive grip. Interior revisions included power windows, new power-adjustable seats, a new steering wheel and improved air conditioning. The 25th Anniversary model was a most fitting swan song for the long-lived Countach, with only 657 built in all. A large file of all records from new documents the history of this very special car from purchase to the present time, including the Window Sticker, Bill of Sale, all purchase paperwork, payment check stubs, insurance paperwork and all service records to 2015. It was owned by a very meticulous individual who had the Countach faithfully serviced only at the selling dealer and maintained it in unmodified factory-original condition. Overall, the Countach can be summarized as a top-tier, preservation-class example, retaining a good portion of the original paint and all original upholstery, glass and trim. The paint has aged and shows typical light crazing in some areas, which nonetheless provides an age-appropriate patina and sense of honesty. This Countach further benefits from a recent major service performed during 2015, ensuring its strong drivability and performance. It is complete with the original owner's manual and books in their leather storage pouch, plus the tool roll, jack, spare assembly and an extraordinary document and history file, complete with clean CARFAX and AutoCheck reports. 5-speed manual transmission.

B-J Saturday June 25, 2016 Lot #662 1998 LAMBORGHINI DIABLO SV VIN ZA9DU21B7WLA12017 Exterior Color ROSSA VC Interior Color SNOWCORN Cylinders 12 Engine Size Transmission 5-SPEED MANUAL Lot #662 - In 1998, a special edition Diablo SV was created for the United States market, the Diablo SV Monterey. Only 20 of these very special limited Diablo SV editions were made, so they sold out almost at once. This edition used a slightly redesigned air intake in front of the rear wheels, similar to the ones used on the Diablo SE30 and the Diablo VT Roadster models of the 20 cars built wee finished in unique colors like Lime Green, Pearl Yellow, Verde Scandal and Le Mans Blue and Rossa Vik. This 1998 Lamborghini Diablo SV is a very special car in the Lamborghini lineage: It is number 11 of just 20 Monterey Edition models built for the U.S. market. It is based on the original Diablo SV that was introduced at the Geneva Auto Show in 1995, resurrecting the Super Veloce moniker first seen on the classic Miura SV. The most notable feature of this edition was the use of the SE30/VT Roadster style of air intakes in front of the rear wheels, unlike the traditional SV style. Several of the cars were painted in uniquely vibrant colors. The Monterey was such rare and desirable variation on the SV theme that the cars were snapped up almost immediately. As in the case of the Miura SV, the Diablo SV received a boost in overall performance, but the factory rating of 530hp was no match of the 790hp generated by this example's V12 powerhouse fed by twin Eaton superchargers. This car was purchased new for the Richard Berry Collection, of the Yellow Pages founding family, and was owned by Mr. Berry until 2014. The second owner, a prominent collector from Jupiter, FL, only traveled 300 miles in the two years of his ownership. This 11,000-kilometers (6,900-miles) car is finished in Rossa Vik which only two other Diablo SV Monerays were produced in this color. The car was recently fully inspected by a factory trained Lamborghini specialists and found to be in excellent working condition. 5-speed manual transmission.

Bonham's June 24, 2016 1992 Lamborghini Diablo Coupé Registration no. D12 BLO Chassis no. ZA9DE07A0NLA12779 *Delivered new to Dubai *Left-hand drive *Current owner in UK last 17 years *Maintained by marque specialists Carrera Sport This particular Diablo was originally registered in Dubai by its first owner, then shipped to California and subsequently brought to the UK. When the current owner purchased the Lamborghini in 1999 it had only 6,700 miles recorded on the odometer, so in the first six years of its life had covered more miles at sea than on land!
The car was inspected for the current owner in 1999 by Lamborghini specialists Carrera Sport (Mike Pullen), who confirmed the excellent condition while also making a note of the carbon fibre engine surround (a standard feature on the later models). Other noteworthy features include a sports exhaust system and a MoMo steering wheel (original with car). This car is part of a small private collection and has been looked after mainly by Carrera Sport. Recent works have included fitted a new crown wheel/pinion (within the last 300 miles) and changing the original clutch at the same time (see £10,220 bill on file). Mike Pullen/Carerra Sport can be contacted to verify the Diablo's history and condition. The current odometer reading is 34,851 kilometres (approximately 21,600 miles).
'D12 BLO' was entered in the Lamborghini Club GB Concours d'Élégance on one occasion, winning the 'Pride of Ownership' award, and was featured in the studio (not driven) on BBC Television's 'Top Gear' motoring programme when the Murciélago LP640 was launched. This car also features on the soundtrack of the Xbox game 'Juiced 2', though the professional sound recording equipment was unable to cope with the mighty V12 engine when the revs exceeded 4,500! The recording session was conducted at the Austec Racing rolling road facility where a power run the same day confirmed that all 500 horses were still available. All 1999-onwards MoT certificates are in the comprehensive history file, and the car also comes with all handbooks, an original brochure, driving gloves, and a tailor-made Lamborghini car cover. One of the finest Diablos currently available, this car - offered with its most appropriate 'D12 BLO' registration - represents an exciting opportunity to acquire a little used, limited edition example of one of the defining supercars of its era.

The second owner purchased the car in 1997 with only 2,258 kilometers on the odometer, sparingly driving it on special occasions. Presently, the car has just over 5,300-km’s and has been sitting on and off for the better part of the last five years. Cosmetically, the paint shows well with some signs of road use, however the paint blemishes are minor; conducive to ‘80s Lamborghini paint quality. The signature “telephone dial” styled alloy wheels are of original finish with factory OZ Racing stickers intact and are presentable as-is and the tires are brand new and of the correct style and size. All glass is original and free of cracks, scratching, and serious chipping. All black trim components are acceptable as are most rubber items. The interior shows as a 5,000-km car should with a dash free of any shrinking or fading. The seats also have no major blemishes and remain original. Each bolster is in excellent condition with the driver’s side showing the faintest sign of wear and true to the mileage. The headliner is as-new and all gauges are original, unscratched, and in proper working order. Door sill leather is always an area where these cars see the most interior wear as owner climb in and out. This car however, is virtually free of any scuffs or scratching along the door sills and door panels. The sills craftily conceal valuable stowage area. Upon starting the car, it comes to life swiftly and sounds excellent; absent of unusual sounds, smoke or vibrations. The previous owner did have a clutch installed during the latter part of his ownership, which performs well. All gauges read correct temperatures and pressures with no known issues. The car is fitted with air conditioning, an AM/FM/CD unit and power windows. The four-wheel disc brakes perform as they should and steering is also smooth and without any faults. Many factory decals and markings remain intact in the engine bay as a testament to this cars originality. The front trunk area is also extremely original with factory spare, rubber fasteners, and finishes all in excellent condition for being 25 years old. The market for ‘80s supercars has gained serious traction over the past two years as enthusiasts from Generation X and Millennial’s now have the disposable income to purchase the cars they lusted over as children. This car presents a great value as a low mileage example with just two private owners from new, a clean Carfax, and complete with manuals in leather folder, tools and jack.
