I had FMS do the 40K service today. Terrific job, everything perfect, but they put 10-60 oil in it, which shocked me at first, given that the book says 10-40. However, I've since verified that Ferrari are now recommending 10-60 for V12's in Aus, so there must be a good reason.
Ha. At St Leonards early. U must be in your way. Must be hard being famous with unique car! 😁
Must be because of our hot Aussie Summers. I've always put 5W50 in my 348, but should probably go 10W50 or even 10W60 next time.
What sort of idiot would purposely Park a Ferrari between two other cars when there's so much space available?
How could there possibly be? Probably more mid range though Obviously better fuel consumption, if that's important
Well, experts on this forum have stated 30hp increase over the Bosch CIS on the QV, which is about what the carbs are meant to have, so I was just wonderin'
There probably WOULD be that increase over CIS, but over PROPERLY tuned carbies with PROPERLY set up timing, and compared to FI using multiple TBs the same size as carbies, then no. Plenty of other more important advantages though, which you don't need to be a genius to work out.
