    The white dial, meters first, 5512 Submariner was only produced for 4 years.. 1966 through 1969. Today I'm wearing this one made the year the first Super Bowl was played & the year Jimi Hendrix released his first album; 1967

    I am not decided yet which one is the "better" one. I like both. The dial of the 5712 is interesting and it just suits the watch. The 5711 is a bit thicker and heavier. It feels more robust whereas the 5712 is more fragile to me. Just the feeling , when wearing one of them.

    New DD watch. Replaces the one I bought for myself that I can't tell the time on which was cool looking, but impossible to read.

    Wife picked it out for me for my birthday.

    Eco-Drive Blue Angel. Kinda cool. Resets itself every night, charge good for 5 years or something like that.

    And yes, we've covered this before, I'm a leftie, so it's on the wrong wrist.
