$125k for a 308 GTBi? I am bit out of step when it comes to 308 prices in the US but this seems far too much to me? Can anyone give me any idea what 308 GTBi would realistically sell for in the USA? Basically a dealer is using this particular car to tell me what a GTBi is worth.
Mileage Condition Service Year Originality I don't know.......more info needed to answer your question Based on what you put, it's way high for an injected car
A good one. Serviced. "Average" miles (define that as you wish) Somewhere in the 50s probably. 125K is strong money for QV B.
You are from South Africa? Isn't it the cars there are RHD? Why the dealer quote US cars for example instead of UK? More accurate price if it's a RHD car. Just some thoughts.
A 308 GTB QV at $125k is not unrealistic due to their desirability and rarity in the US, but it would have to be a top condition car. If it were a 2V injected car it would be considerably less.
Beware then. Even the RHD 2V GTBi cars in UK are not worth that much usually. UK RHD market is already significantly higher than the US market.
$125,000 is currently @ £94K, and there are several 308 GTB's and GTS' currently for sale in the UK for more than that amount.
For carb and QV yes, for 2V injected you sure? OP specifically pointed out its a 2V GTBi... We know that the "i" cars value the lowest among all variants.
To be more accurate, I've found a GTBi marketed at US$125k from Belgium: http://www.oldtimerfarm.be/en/collection-cars-for-sale/2743/ferrari-308-gtbi-black-81.php#.V3sl0fTXfCQ
Well Steven, these days no-one knows exactly how much they are worth, as you can see considerable variations in the prices asked. But to me, this is much too much...a two-valve, Left Hand Drive, "standard continental euro" GTBi is about 65.000 euros in France, which is about 70.000 U$. Of course, condition is an important variable, but nevertheless... Rgds here you have one for 57.000 euros, which seem to have seen better days... https://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/948579191.htm?ca=12_s
