Congrats to the new owners and all involved. SE30's are really special. I stoped the sale of mine (057) despite a had a good offer.....back in my garage for the years to come. happy long 4th of july weekend! Still No1 worldwide and land of the free, never forget. greetings from switzerland swiss2000
I enjoyed the heck out of that car when I had it...probably one of the best SE cars there where. Taken well care of by Steve from Driven Exotics - The Lamborghini Specialists I am sure it has changed hands for a lot more then what I sold it for to Christen just a short time back. I think he still has his Jota, but maybe not...glad he made a few dollars on it...and I think they are still on the rise. Congrats to the new owner. 1994 Lamborghini Diablo SE30 #8 Recent Major Service
It is currently one of the better-running SE30s having spent the past 1 year and 3 months with Steve receiving further mechanical TLC
Beautiful car, my GT #74 is the same color and the pics never come out as well as the car in person. Enjoy it...its a special car.
Yes, it was there a long time...but didn't take all that time for the work. His work is top notch and he is booked out quite ways out, but well worth the wait. It will be interesting once #8 is swapped to current #51 owner and #51 to the current #8 owner. They both look stunning in cosmetics. I don't know the mechanical history of #51, but I hope its to the high quality and standard that #8 received over the years. I think the cross trade of these two vehicles is a benefit win for both party's. I recall the great fun I had in the Players Run Rally with #8, from LA all the way to Denver. Performed flawlessly for me, was a great week of adventure, less the TWO speeding tickets LOL I do recall comparing it to my later Diablo's. I like the seats of the early Diablo's better then the 6.0 seats, (other then the electric seats in the 6.0SE cars). But one big notice difference was the poor brakes on the 94SE compared to the more modern 6.0 cars. I also recall on the way in to Vegas from one of the back ways in the desert at approx 170 MPH the 94SE began to "float" in the front, was not as planted as the 6.0 at this speed and higher...but how many times you drive 185 plus... It was a wonderful fantastic vehicle I had the pleasure to own and made lasting memory's with. Fantastic car!!
The mechanical history of 051 is excellent. We purchased the car from an FChatter based in Europe who is renowned for his impeccable and not inconsiderable Lamborghini collection featuring everything from Miura SV onwards. In so doing, on December the 23rd 2015, the car was subjected to a technical inspection, followed by an extensive test-drive by Valentino Balboni. Pursuant to the inspection, a written & signed report was generated on January the 9th 2016, technical excerpts from which are as follows: "Engine compartment perfect condition, clean and maintained, complete with original plates & decals. Results of the road-test are in accordance of expected manufacturer specifications. Regular power and torque output, regular engine sound & idling,. Regular road-holding and stability. Excellent general condition, never previously seen a car (SE30) in such condition." Upon delivery to the now-previous owner, it didn't disappoint. The new owner will not be disappointed either. There are a ton of in-period articles and test pieces as Diablo 4 Ever posted http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/143830800-post1225.html Best bet is to get them off EBay by doing a search, then you've got a tangible keepsake with the car's literature. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I took mine (#72) out for a run yesterday on the first full day of decent weather we have had in the UK so far in 2016. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks nice! btw your front lights are wrong mounted. The orange side should be outside not inside. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Yep, but I prefer the side lights on the outside. Makes it a little bit more purposeful when they are on.
Dion your famed SE30 looks fantastic, I always remember it from the 'Satanic Verses' and 'Born to be Wild' articles!
