Saw a California on 264 near Farmville, NC headed towards Raleigh.
Don't usually post these because I see a ton of them, but today I saw a sick matte black Maserati GranTurismo Sport heading north on NC 50 in Garner near the water treatment plant. It was about 4:20 or so when I saw it. Rolled my window down as it passed....very loud, sounded wicked. Edit - almost forgot, a friend of mine said he saw an orange McLaren P1 on Creedmore Rd in Raleigh a couple days ago. Told him I thought it was probably a 675LT (which is owned by an FChat user), but he swears it was a P1, and he said it had a NC plate. He said he's also seen a black P1 in Cary. If that's true, there are three P1s in Raleigh, which I'm finding somewhat hard to believe (partly because I haven't seen any of them)....anyone able to confirm/deny any of that?
No idea about the orange P1, but I'm with you in suspecting it's that 675LT. The black P1 I can confirm. It's owned by a man named Peter who I've heard lives in Durham. He has a pretty impressive collection, including a Pagani Huayra, Porsche 918 Spyder, RUF CTR3 Clubsport, and Singer 911, just to name a few. He's got a few more modern cars and some pretty amazing classics. Your friend is lucky. I've been wanting to spot his P1.

*speechless* A Ruf CTR3 Clubsport?!?!?!? You really, really never know what's in Raleigh's backyard...... He saw the P1 at Whole Foods in Cary about six or seven months ago by the way. I honestly didn't believe him at the time when he said it was a P1 because he didn't snap any pics of it, but now I'm thinking it probably was. I pm'd him a while back when my friend said he saw a black P1 in the area, and he said there was indeed a new-to-the-Triangle P1 in addition to his. He said there might be a third one headed our way as well, so I wasn't sure if someone else had indeed taken delivery of another P1 recently. -------- Today I saw a dark green Morgan behind me on NC 50 in Garner just before noon. It turned onto Ten-Ten Rd. Not sure of the model but it think it was a Plus 8. Hadn't seen a Morgan in a while, pretty cool to see even if it wasn't a three-wheeler.
The orange car was probably my Volcano Orange 675LT coupe and, yes, there is a black P1 I'm town as well as my blue P1.

Yep! Had Texas plates, so I think it's the same one I saw about a year and a half ago in Southpark. I got to speak with the owner then, and he said he owns several dealerships in Texas. I believe he either owns or works for Sonic Automotive and might also have a 2014 Audi R8 V10 that is a semi-daily driver.
Today, June 17th, in Charlotte: Light grey Porsche 991 GT3 turning onto Carmel Rd from Pineville Matthews Rd at about 1:00. Red Ferrari California T heading west on Fairview Rd in front of Whole Foods at 3:20 or so. White Porsche 991 GT3 in the Maggiano's Little Italy parking near the Southpark Mall valet a couple minutes later.
Thursday, June 23rd, in Charlotte: Grey Audi R8 V10 turning onto Prosperity Church Rd from Mallard Creek Rd in the University area around 5:45 or so. Friday, June 24th, in Raleigh: Red Ferrari 599 GTB (my first ever 599 sighting!!!) heading west on I-40 at NC 147 (Durham Frwy) at about 12:45 this afternoon.
Saturday, June 2nd, in Raleigh: -Red Ferrari California T on W Cabarrus at McDowell St in downtown at about 6:15. I believe the color was Rosso Mugello but I'm not positive, as there was a car in the left lane of McDowell and I only caught a quick glimpse of the Ferrari as I passed. -Blue Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe on Texas plates at North Hills shortly after 8:00. Pretty rare spotting for the Raleigh area. Also a couple Bentleys, several Maseratis, another Rolls-Royce, and a Tesla Model X out last night.

The 997.2 GT3 is my favorite GT3, and it was great to see one driving around since they are so scarce these days. White Aston Martin Rapide S roared past the plaza next to Paradise Valley Par 3 in Charlotte sometime after 7:00 that evening. And my word, what a roar it was.
