Here's an FOC member from the colonies planning to attend the annual meet with SWMBO. Joined in 1985 when the Club arrangement at Silverstone for the Grand Prix included a grandstand section for members opposite the Ferrari pits and a wonderful marquee tent right back of the stands for breakfast and lunch. Fortunate to sit beside Godfrey Eaton at the Sunday lunch. Wonder why the Club no longer makes such an arrangement (I believe Silverstone is the same weekend - curious scheduling).

Would love to meet up with some tifosi during the week we'll be in England prior to returning to New York aboard Queen Mary 2.

I am interested in attending the national meet with a car and could use some assistance with contact info for registration and details of the event. Maybe an email contact of a club officer? I sent an inquiry through the website but no response.
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Greg

Yes, thanks to John's post along with another helpful PM I made the proper connections and am all set to go and will attend with a blue 250 Lusso. I get into London the 7th and plan on driving up to the meet from DK Engineering Saturday morning. My wife and two young boys are attending as well so I am thinking about getting them on a train from London which will get them close enough for a taxi to the hotel.

For anyone attending please say hello! I am looking forward to the trip!

Very quiet event this year, highlight for me was the competition daytona.

Had a quick chat with Jordan from Bell classics who said it was a bit of a beast on the road hence the conventional silencing i.e. not side pipes.

Hi, nice to meet you Greg , I hope you enjoyed your weekend and hope you're having a great vacation. The blue Lusso you came in to the concours was lovely. Nice to see so many vintage Ferrari's at one place. All the best and have a safe journey home. Andy.

I think we may have spoken at the event? Your wife was generous with wine at the dinner on the Saturday (according to you on Sunday) and we discussed car covers/AirChambers ?

Thanks for saying hello Andy, your club put together a great event and we had a fantastic time. We fell in love with Stapleford Park and rather than travel through out the UK we spent a couple memorable weeks enjoying the golf, tennis, and tranquility that Stapleford provided. And yes VTDF we did speak as I think I mentioned the bar tab reflecting my wife's Texas and southern hospitality would have paid for one of your Air Chambers:)

It was a great experience and thanks to the GB Owners Club for an unforgettable event.

Hope you enjoyed it Greg. Sorry I missed you (saw the lovely car), I was also there with my daughter on the Sunday.

(I was in Dallas two years ago and you invited me to the Wings and Wheels).
