Bruce Dickinson is just ridiculous, and I by that I mean completely awesome. Glad he's well again!

Saw the IM plane parked at LAX in April. So awesome.

It is a great picture, and very funny, but for all practical purposes I would take Hollande's 7X long before the 747.

The toys are nice. But you couldn't pay me enough to be anything that comes with fame!

My understanding, always possibly mistaken of course, but makes sense to me, is that it's 'cheaper' to haul all those people/that kit around the world on your own plane than it is to 'charter'.....

I guess 50-60 people (?), and a few hundred tons of kit.

Being able to fly it yourself (fun!) I suspect adds to the tax write off too!

    Way too cool!

    Cheers,
    Ian

That is the coolest thing ever. Not much of a fan of the band but you gotta give credit where credit is due.

Actually, it IS a charter... long term, with their name on the side.

I agree with zudnic.... Never going on a private plane with rock stars. Nothing personal, just not a good track record

hahaha, It depends on the band. My last two rock band tours were nothing but 'please and thank yous'. Now mind you they were not in the drug/booze filled years of yesteryear. Its the new rich and one particular style of music that brings out the crazies.

I think he is referring to the numerous fatal crashes involving pop/rock stars
