Looks great and just look at those rims-extraordinary how they totally alter the character of the car. Elegant but racy. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm not an aero expert but I really can't understand the purpose. Seems they would prevent air from reaching the edges of the rear deck spoiler which is designed to create down force. Beginning to think it is there to push air away from the exposed gas cap perhaps to prohibit suctioning out fuel and then just did it on the other side to match. Either that or its there to stop wind noise or howl due to the smaller side glass. Just don't know how much aero advantage they could offer on their own. If anyone knows for sure I'd be interested.
FYI the F50 has almost the exact same edges on its quarter-light/A frame. I guess it's glass/wind noise related.
That's it ! I use an online dictionnary to find some specific words. Hence the use of the word "Furrow"

Also not being an aero expert but at the private presentation, that is what is what it was described as.
Just fantastic! The blue CF and yellow offer quite a contrast. Amazing. My guess on those winglets is the same as your guesses- probably due to the smaller side window/ they did change the angle of the rear window for the tdf. Its possible this created some kind of wind noise and these winglets redirect the air in such a way as to minimize or eliminate the noise. I'd sure love to know what they are.
If i had not read it in your IG that the metal grilles around the rear wheel vents, exhaust and radiator are painted blue as the carbon fiber, i would never see it! Fantastic small and interesting details.
Knowing more than the average person regarding aero (but by no means an expert aerodynamic expert), those 2 winglets will provide a decent amount of downforce. Very well could be dual purpose regarding windnoise too, though. Similar winglets on the 997 GT3 RS 4.0 also help enough, at high speeds it forces the front end down significantly. At everyday road speeds it's unnoticeable, though.
Futur classic for sure ! https://scontent-iad3-1.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/e35/13643530_1048861041862599_743439769_n.jpg?ig_cache_key=MTI5MzAxNjMzNTU3MTMxOTUyMw%3D%3D.2?dl=1
I have blue carbon throughout my Titanio Aperta - always wondered what the matte version was like. Your car looks stunning.
Check ChalStrad TDF, 458 SA and LaFerrari. All loaded with matte blue cf. Here's a video of his LaF. All the exterior cf is matte blue tinted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JF12xDNMW_w
Looks like Bruce Wayne got an allocation as well: https://www.instagram.com/p/BHw5L30DJsr/?tagged=f12tdf&hl=en
When DCmetro & Traveller have to share the same car https://scontent-iad3-1.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/e35/13696860_1146441678746220_1980945542_n.jpg?ig_cache_key=MTI5MzI5MTE4OTQ2MjUzNDYwNg%3D%3D.2?dl=1
That made me chuckle but I would have gone for the diamond wheels if you were happy with them? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've never seen a total nero TdF or i missed it here..but the specific looks so good...ah..i wanted to say mean!
