From the engine photos, we can see that the 488 has a much smaller engine.

 

With unequal drivers. At least my Speciale doesn't have a butthole above each door...😈

How about the fact that 650s is 100cc puny-er and is turbocharged

and the 650s is awesome! so if you do get one, you will be able to outrun a 488

Btw all other cars mentioned are easily in it's league performance-wise,
as for the 650S, I would rather own one over a 488, smoke one and have

The downshifts and overrun sounds in the 488, at least in the one I drove, unfortunately sound like
asthmatic flatulence to me, a disgrace for an Fcar: hey, it's a forum..

You have to downshift 458 while braking. The 488 will be nowhere close to that.

 

In terms of some hundred thousand times repeated but of course still really funny posts - unfortunately.

 

The ability to re-chip the 488 (and/or some other slight mods to turbo) and get 800+hp blows away any "modding" advantage of the 458.

Describing a 488 as puny engined needs a compete loss of the Sense for reality.
Cannot be taken for serios then...

 

Actually it (the downshift) sounds better than the 458 w/o aftermarket treatment.
Your ears seem to be working differently compared with ours.
However, I have to admit, haven't heard asthmatic flatulence so far.

You're not making any sense and haven't made any sense the entire thread. The 650S isn't going to smoke a 488 and you can barely see the engine in that car. The 488's engine looks much better if you are going to break out the "appearance" argument. The GTR looks like a Maxima under the hood and you can't even see either Porsche's engine, unless some plastic shrouding and 2 fans gets your blood pumping.

It's painfully obvious that you are just a 488 hater. Sorry it's vastly superior to your car in every measurable metric except for how loud the exhaust is. I guess keep clinging to that?

I was never trying to compare my car to a 488: you are; as for the 650S, who says it is not going
to outperform the 488?
