Amazing. May be a sheik bought it. Euro price are 2 to 3 time over the USA for VQ. This car however has all the popular checks: Ultimate (nothing special technologically nor historically from S), less than 1K miles (new), Euro (not sure why as US are same cars but they like it more).
So all that makes that car worth $230K over what it would sell here. i uspposed also the huge VAT is included in that. I cant imagine VAt being additional.

The only sad thing is that its owner clearly did not enjoy it.

Coloured ones are rare in Europe.

I can see at least two different shades of grey. :D

These dark ones look so elegant and sporty.

Interesting car. Has got it all if maintained properly. No far from my place too. 100k well deserved as there may not be sdp of that quality around. Especially seing a base beater sold at auction for over 50k. A sale here would indicate where the market is at.

Hi folks, What do you think of these non S cars for sale in Canada. I am considering them or possibly a DB9 or Vantage. The one with a new clutch is attractive but I don't like the black so much. The Blue one is a one owner but was repainted in Vancouver - assurances of no accidents.

That bright blue could be "Bowmore Blue". Extremely rare...

I like the colour and interior of the blue one. I have asked if it is a factory AML colour.
I thought I could wrap the black one.

Ok, I just checked Bowmore Blue and I have to say, it is too dark. I assume it's Azzurro California (Ferrari stock colour)...

Attached pic shows a Bowmore blue Vanq S and as far as I remember, it's unique.

Yup It looks like Azzurro. Do you think this will affect the price much later on, if/when these more sought after?

I personally think the darker the better - this is a fact in Germany, where I'm located. I have a especially fast black one (black ones are known as the fastest). ;-)

I really don't think this colour has a positive effect on the price.

    Do you have the S/N?

I haven't got the serial # yet. What is your opinion on the black one with the new clutch and tranny(done at the AM dealer in Toronto area) - other than it is faster than the other two? LOL

Well, the price is simply amazing, I just converted CAD into EUR and this is half (!) the price you'd pay in Europe!

You should see and test drive the car.
New tranny and clutch could mean, the current owner doesn't know much about the car.

Do you have a good Aston service in your area?

The owner offered to send the car to the AM dealer in Toronto and I could have it inspected and test drive it there. I would have to fly there and drive back if I bought it. The nearest AM service to me is in Calgary, about 6 hours away. I do my own maintenance when I can. I changed the timing belts on my Mondial which was fairly easy. For the Vanquish I would like a tech familiar with the car to check it over every year or two.

No problem, I drove mine from Northern Germany through France and back without any problem. This is what it's made for.

The blue one is absolutely gorgeous. This color combo is really matching the car well.

Yeah the Blue one really caught my eye. I inquired and at 35k km it hasnt't had the clutch done or so the dealer says. I thought that ~30k - 35k km was around the limit for first gen clutches.

Well interesting choice. The reason scream the black one with the new cluch and certain upgraded gear sensor. The least mileage of the 3, the better price, nice combo. If the rest checks out that is the 1st choice for value.
Note that for the remaining 2 if sensor was not done you are looking at some nice bill sooner or later.

For the pure emotion the blue one for the color. Unfortunatly for the NA market the car is $20K over especially if the coils/sensor was not done. At that mileage the car will have needs if not addressed recently. Pre 2004 do not seem to sell around or over $80K USD especially over 20K miles. that car at $65K would be more like it, at least this year

I personally do get excited over silver but i fault to see a reason to choose it over the 2. not priced right for the mileage for NA and nothing advertised or shown that incite curiosity.

Color should not be a factor for resale. Some people say black and grey are better some say unique color are better. Some people hate unique colors. I found a guy who hated the Aston green which I just love.
Color is a crapshoot and it depends on which buyer will look at the car but no one I know would pay a premium for any color. They simply dont buy a car of the color they dont like.
