My Audemars Piguet Ultra Thin which I purchased new. I preferred the classic and understated style of this watch over the hobnail style of the Patek 3919.

Yep, I like that! I also happen to like the PP calatrava (sp?) also. That style is sooooo elegant and understated.

+930. My thoughts exactly! It is like Audrey Hepburn vs. Raquel Welch.

Although (showing my anal retentive side) it has always driven me crazy that watch manufacturers use the wrong Roman numeral for the number "4". The correct display is not "IIII". It is "IV".

I've spent the afternoon in my leather recliner sipping a little liquid pain killer due to the root canal I had at lunch. I am wearing my Date from the mid 1960's with custom milled end pieces and a croc strap.

I think I told you before how much I love my deepsea. I just got a rubber band from RubberB that really compliments the watch and changes the look up a bit. I obviously don't plan to keep the rubber band on the watch for ever but it's a quick way to make the watch look different without messing with it too much.

The pictures are from a few days ago (hence the wrong date)

I may have to add a Big Pilot.

Have you seen this recent Hodinkee video?

Hi buddy, thanks for the pics. That actually does look pretty cool.

Perpetuals are amazing. I have owned several (not IWCs).

For me, I think it will need to be the 5002.

Picked up those 2 watches this month.

Deep Sea is the Blue Dial version. Looks stunning but to be honest, at half the cost of the Rolex, the Omega is giving the Rolex a serious run for its money. Love them both!
