Folks, a while back I acquired a Jetronic ECU from an 84' 308 QV that was being parted. I picked it up assuming that all of the 3x8's with lambda control used the same ECU and thought it might be a good idea to have it as a spare for my 328. Turns out the QV ECU is different from the 328 (QV Jetronic ECU Ferrari part# 121516/Bosch 0280800063, 328/3.2 Jetronic ECU Ferrari part# 127479/Bosch 0280800068). I have the QV Jetronic ECU for sale in the classified section (http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferrari-parts-collectibles/514729-308-mondial-qv-jetronic-ecu.html) and yesterday someone asked if the ECU will work on an 83 QV. My understanding is that Kjet with lambda which requires this ECU was first fitted to US version 84 QVs. Can any QV owners confirm. Thanks in advance.

QV uses the Digiplex up to 1985 then switch over to Jetronics in 1986

Mike, I think we're talking about two different things (ignition ECU vs. fuel injection ECU). I'm sure someone smarter than me will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 308QV ignition was indeed governed by dual Marelli Digiplex ECUs for each bank while the 328/3.2 line used a single Marelli Microplex ECU.

The Bosch Fuel injection ECU which I'm referring to was introduced with the addition of kjet with lambda (addition of kjet with an oxygen sensor). I'm trying to figure out if kjet w/ lambda started with the US version QVs in 83 or 84.

Correct - 1984 and 1985 US 308QV are K-Jet with Lambda. 1983 US 308QV are K-jet without Lambda (so no Jetronic ECU).
