The whole point of trying to sell something on fchat is not to avail yourself of a free means to sell your leftover household goods- it is to contribute to this community. We like the same stuff.

If a seller won't post pictures and prices then I think the thread should be deleted by a mod- Shouldn't that be a perquisite?

Really some basic rules should be enforced across the board-

    1) You can only sell YOUR OWN stuff (no selling for a "Friend")
    2) Must List Price
30 Must post photo of the ACTUAL ITEM (No stock images)

That would make everyone feel a little bit safer about dealing with a stranger on a fast car forum.

Please post any complaints, comments, or recommendations regarding the current F-Chat classified advertising rules in an appropriate forum, and not in another user's classified ad thread. I suggest contributing to one of these existing discussions:

And please also be aware that your post violates our rule against commentary in the classified threads:

OK, I am a watch guy. While asking for offers on watches without a given price is relatively new (see Chronotrader), this is pure bull****. I call you on it. Get out or provide pictures. Oh, and have a nice day in Rykers.

The Rolex Submariner ref. 6538 is considered the "Bond" watch because Connery wore one in the early Bond films. Some refer to any early Submariner reference (6538, 6536-1, 5508, 5510) as "Bond" watches because they are all from the same era, have no crown guards and have a similar look. Production ran from sometime in the 50's up until the early 60's on these, broadly speaking, depending on the reference.

Are you selling them individually or just as a lot? If selling individually I would be interested in seeing pics.

Also, just to echo the sentiment of others - In keeping with safe selling practices on all the watch forums, you really should post basic pics (including partial serial numbers), and provide full serial numbers and detailed pics to those interested. Public pics weed out scammers instantly and save everyone time.

I must agree. I've never understood secrecy in for sale ads.
