    Can't wait, love those! Thinking of tracking mine. But would prefer to rent them on a track instead like a DreamRacing Vegas etc.

    Is not having stripes on a Speciale the kiss of death for resale? Also the car I am looking at is a mat finish (aluminum Opaco) , Does that hurt it?

    Nothing is necessarily the "kiss of death." What matters most is whether the care "does it for you." Now, having said that, I likely wouldn't buy one without a stripe just because I think that little bit of specialness sets it apart visually from the Italia. There likely are many people who feel the same as me, and as such you may not be able to move it as quickly in the future if you want to, or need to. However, I have seen some pictures of Speciales with beautiful paint schemes without a stripe and they looked quite good.
    I just think of the Speciale as the "bad boy" of the Italia range...and as such should look a little more "bad boyish."

    I assume you mean the car at Ferrari of Tampa....beautiful car.

    I saw a black one in the flesh a couple months ago. It is sinister and amazing. Photos do not do a black Speciale justice.

    Was in beirut last weekend for the qualifying laps of the Beirut Grand Prix, which is a street race for non-professional drivers (time attack) being held this september in Beirut, Lebanon.

    Someone sent me this pic, as I was pulling up on the grid for a sighting lap!

    What a car!!!!

    When I was at the tailor made they gave me some options, I said I want something different. Its what the factory team used on their GT cars livery at a point in time...so I adapted it to my stripe colour.
