Can someone explain or show a photo of the proper way to run the cable for the battery conditioner out of the trunk? The manual says to run it underneath the trunk lid in the outer/rear corner. That's not the most specific description.

I have my Cali always connected to the tender and I put the cable in the area where the arrow is pointing in the picture. I never let the boot come down with a bang, I always put it down gently and than the locking mechanism closes it completely.

I have a 2015. The connector is on the outside of car. Look up under lip of truck to left of license plate,

The external connector started with the T. Prior to that, the connection is inside the trunk.
