    Hello all.

Is there any logic behind the number (and letter) on the Dino warranty card? I attached an example from a recent e-bay auction.

I was wondering if the number corresponds to the sequential number of the car produced. (ex: S/N 03064 was the 1401 st Dino produced .... including 206s ??)

    Any help is appreciated

My warranty card (S/N:04256) shows N.2407/D. If it was 2407th car, then my serial number would be higher. Maybe it's including all production Ferrari?

    I also owned these warranty cards before. SN:03282 - 1809/D, SN:04802 - 2700/D, SN:05586 - 2781/D (not clear), SN:06292 - 3566/D (1973 warranty book - says "warranty card no. 3566/D").

Well, they all appear to be /D. Could that be for Dino?

Just as I thought... except for the /D as in "Dino" as Dave suggested, there is no correlation between the chassis number and the warranty card number. I even tried plotting one versus the other using the numbers that you folks made available, and did some curve fitting (yes I am an engineer), but to no avail - no relationship whatsoever...

The warranty card is the only irreplaceable item in any Dino. Hope you find it.

Other than say, matching number engine/tranny.

The number on the Warranty card is the number of the Certificate of Origin.

Can anyone help with finding the warranty card for #01438 ?

Would be amazing if it could find its way back to the car, which is in my possession now.
