    Is there a spec for the type of oil and the quantity for a 456 GM Harrisson V5 015144 ac compressor?

    My shop is asking me and I have no idea....just had it rebuilt at Polar Bear inc. and I'm in the process of reinstalling it in the car.

    Already did, they told me 8-10 oz but that I should check my Ferrari specs. Workshop manual only has the Sanden compressor info, mine is a Harrisson V5.

    Was not easy finding the info online but I found a few links that indicated PAG 150 as the type of oil and the quantity of 9 oz.

    Hopefully this will work...

    ???? Oil for ac compressor ???

    It's the first time I hear about this but after looking at the WS manual, it's true. The AC compressor needs oil (150 cc / 0.25 pints - MURRAY E13M6 PAG OIL SP2).

    When does the oil level has to be controled because my 456 GT is currently at the garage with an AC compressor problem and I would like to know if this task is included in the yearly control operations !!!
