Looking at a 360?

So I'm looking at a 2001 360 F1 Red/Tan 2 owners 32k miles. Shows no issues, so what's a fair price?

Assuming passes PPI, you'll pay more (or less) depending on anything aftermarket like rims, exhaust, challenge grills, etc... At 32k miles, youre getting a nice driver but likely won't be a collector, so the smaller things like the tool kit, manuals, etc are less important.

The fact that it's red and has only 2 owners is what makes it worth > $70k IMHO.

I think this should be sub $70k right now. I have a red/tan 2003 F1 Modena with half the mileage and brand new clutch and belts that is mechanically perfect ( I have had for 3 years) and I think it's a $75k car. If it needs a clutch/major service then low $60's

 

IMO, your car is worth more than what you are quoting. An original, late model, well-sorted (ie., condition 2), 16k-mile rosso Modena is easily 80k or slightly higher.

 

You would sell your car for $75? You might be leaving money on the table!

 

Market is all over. I have a 99 Modena F1 with a 2003 TCU, brand new clutch, belts, brakes and service. It's turnkey. Inside easy 9/10 and outside 8/10 that could be 10/10 with a color correction detail and a front nose spray 23k miles. I have been offered $75k for it twice, its not for sale though. It's loaded with Shield, Grill, Electric Seats, Piping and deviated stitching, etc

Red/Tan cars needing nothing with normal to low miles are an easy sell in the 70's right now. Color makes a very big difference with these cars as there are tons of them for sale and they are in many cases someones first Ferrari and many want red. Add the right options and the fact the car needs nothing and mid 70's is realistic

I bought mine a little over two years ago and it only had 16k miles at the time. It still had the 99 TCU in it and it was going to need a clutch in the next year or two (Which it did just this past spring. I paid $73k, i knew i was paying more towards the top of the range at the time but the car was spotless, low miles but still had been driven and had all records back to new showing it was ALWAYS cared for. I might have saved a few grand at purchase time by shopping around more but i'm convinced i have saved a lot overall as outside of the clutch which i knew i was going to have to replace, its' needed nothing outside of a A/C compressor rebuild which was less than $300 in the over 2 years and 7k miles i have had it.

Find the car you want in the colors you want in the condition it should be in and then don't worry so much about plus or minus 5k. It wont mean anything over the course of time if you truly bought a solid car. If 5k is a make or break then it's not a good time to buy one in the first place

Find yourself a car with another pedal and you'll be the happiest guy on earth.. Absolutely the most fun you'll ever have with your clothes on.

They are both fun to drive but after driving both, I have to agree with the above
