They discussed on Friday in driver's meeting that moves under braking are not permitted... As the other gentleman posted above, there is only that much you can squeeze out of a tyre. He could have started to steer under the condition to sacrifice break performance. He would have just run even wider and further off. That was a racing incident I would say. But it is wrong that Rosberg got a penalty for an event that unfolded as a result of Max pulling a move that was not permitted.
Corrected for you even tried to claim he was "on full lock" going into the corner. i lol'd. Image Unavailable, Please Login
? and ? What is he lying about? What is Massa whining about? He got hit from behind, car obviously not right after that as it was dead slow and eventually retired.
Lol, turning when having to move because Max moved, under full braking. That's smart. They'd still be collecting carbon fibre now.
Rosberg came from too far back, should've never attempted an overtake.... Don't forget this is not touring car racing, F1 cars are fragile, so respecting each others space (also condsidering track limits) is essential. If you can't make it stick, don't overtake. A bit, early into the braking zone, but he probably didn't expect Rosberg, but he did leave him more than enough room to make the turn... Rosberg turned wenn he was almost at a dead stop, hate to say it but proves again his racecraft really is not up to par for a Mercedes driver....
wow..i take it Ferrari had a *****ty race. I left on lap 9. I really don't find F1 appealing anymore. Judging from all the posts and comments, I'm not wrong so far.
Of all things that is the least likely. Why would he deliberately take a lousy line into the turn if not under threat? Nope. He did it on full purpose. Max is fast, he is sharp and he races borderline fair. My feel is he is on the unfair side of the border. I think he is hyped and FIA is scared to penalize the upcoming talent to much and catch a ****storm. Silverstone, Hungary, multiple moves on straighy, moves under braking... and now again in Hockenheim. He is absolutely awake and aware of what he is doing behind the wheel.
Maybe your right, but fact is he did leave Rosberg more than enough room... Which can't be said of Rosberg a fraction later....
Yes but Max chose to give Rosberg a late squeeze in the braking zone. Rosberg had no choice. Either carry on straight and do a late turn, what he did. Or start turn early and run wiiiide into the grass. Both times Max on the outside of him. Where should he have gone? Hammer an anchor into the tarmac?
The Nico Rosberg school of blocking Drive straight through a corner and then use full lock to excuse it.
Either way, good teamwork of Ricc and Max. Max couldn't distance himself from Ricc on his second stint on his Supersofts wenn Ricc was on the softs, so let Ricc pass on his next stint wenn the roles were vice versa. Fair play. Shame for Ferrari, they seem to be the third team till the end of the season.
Totally wrong analogy. This is text book. Show me another example. And please keep in mind I think Max is the bomb.. If you u go deep in a corner and you hang on , guess what , it is a pass. What race were you watching? This banal penalty is an offshoot of 2016.
I think you miss my point. I'm actually not against the ACTION he took I'm against his silly lying EXCUSE he took
+1 for the penalty You can't dive bomb a corner and pray that you stay on the track. He couldn't turn earlier because he braked too late. Like some drivers of past Rosberg is a great qualifier but he's hopeless at racing.
Fair enough. Except it was confirmed in slow mo by an ex F1 driver and professional race analyst, Anthony Davidson. I'll go with his limited capacity on this one.
Sucks to say but my real life friends are getting is dumb as the Hamilton brigade. Max can do no wrong, double standards for everything. Been a fun ride.
Other observation of the race: Williams fighting hard to work themselves towards the back with both cars. They need the summer break as much as Kvyat.
