I found these pictures of some Cobra Misano seats someone had covered in this Daytona leather look. I think these look pretty good and I'd guess they would sit nice and low like the Ferrari "Sport seats", whether it be the CS, Scud or 458.

The cost of the seat is about $1700 each but then I'll have the expense of the leather work on top of that. So not the cheapest way to do this, but still a fraction of what any of the Ferrari Sport/458 seats I've found.

To each his own but those seats look hideous. However, I think that if you paint those polished parts black, it would go a long way and by the time you upholstered them, they could be super.

And there are lots of places to get Ferrari leather. GAHH and Reoriginals are the old standbys. A good upholsterer will have some alternatives, too.

Pulled the trigger for a pair of Sparco Milano prestige seats I found on Ebay.. Very slightly used and wrong color etc, but since I'm having re-trimmed in matching Crema leather like the rest of my interior it wasn't a concern.

Here's a picture I found posted here of another member who installed these seats in his 360. I think they're a good fit and Sparco makes a bracket specific for the Ferrari 360 to make installation a breeze.

This forum was (again) a huge help.. Thanks to everyone for the advice, opinions and information. I'll definitely post some pictures of the final results. Looking forward to being comfortable behind the wheel very soon!

    Went poorly..

Less headroom then my oem seats by the time you add the sliders and adapter bracket to mount in the car.

In my estimation the only way this works is if the adapter bracket is not in the equation. The reason the carbon back Sport seats work to solve this headroom / seating position problem is because the rails on the bottom of the Ferrari cf seats bolt right down to the floor in the 360. That gets you the biggest amount of headroom.. Probably 2-3 inches by my calculations.

I think my only REAL solution here is some Ferrari cf Sport / racing seats from a CS, Scud or 458.

Thank you all for the wealth of knowledge shared here! I've only owned this car a very short time but I've been bitten by the mod bug already and these seats are first on my list.

New Scud wheels on the way as well however! !

Do the sparco sliders not bolt to the floor on the car? I figured you could do those on side mounts and put in some one piece carbon seats and get some low seats.

That all said, I've found the factory sport seats to be awesome and a great solution, even if they're ridiculously expensive.

You could definitely do that if you wanted a one piece seat like you described.. Not really what I'm after.

I really want the reclining mechanism and I don't really want the "race car" look of the side mount.

The jury is in.. I'm going for a set of the Ferrari cf seats. Case closed. ;)

I want Milanos but don't want to lose headroom . Plus Im accustom to sitting with electric seat completely down so sitting up would be very different

Milano on the mounts I have sit exactly the same as my electric seats set at the lowest setting so if you're OK with the headroom you have now, you'll be OK with the Sparco Milano. After some careful measuring I've realized that they physically sit down closer to the floor but they still position your body at the same height as the OEM seats because the bottom cushion and bolsters are firmer so they seem to "grab" your torso as opposed to allowing you to sit down further into the base cushion (if that makes sense). I considered just having my upholstery shop adjust the bottom cushion in which case I could get an easy inch lower but I want more headroom then that still so not good for me.

I've got a pair of Sparco Milanos complete with Tracks and Sparco adapter bracket for the 360 sitting in my garage right now if you're interested..? I just pulled the trigger for 13k for a pair of the 458 Carbon Sport seats.. Ugh.. Hurts bad. :/ I REALLY hope these get my butt right on the floor or I'm gonna be a very disappointed man.

Trying to convince myself that the 458 carbon Sport seats will basically "hold their value" so if I sell the car at some point, I could sell the seats for "close" to what I paid to one you fine gentlemen. What do you guys think? Try that argument with the little lady?? Haha

Haha.. Looks like a nice fit.

I did look at this brand and 2 different suppliers told me they're always very limited availability and the feedback I saw talked about how tight of a fit the side and leg bolsters are. The side mounts would definitely get the seat on the floor but I'm not digging the look of side mounts. I wanted to find something that looks oem.

The side mounts being aluminum is what drew me to them in the first place. That matches the interior of the OEM car trim!

No.. They're actually an ugly blue color alcantara. I had intentions of having them reupholstered to match my Crema leather so I didn't care what color seats I found. I got a good deal on these because of the color.

New seats are supposed to arrive tomorrow.. It's been a long couple weeks getting them here from Germany and I can't wait to install them. Nero leather and alcantara I'm hoping will look good in my car once I change the carpet to black.

I'm hoping not to have to recover them as I was planning on changing the carpet either way.

Thoughts? I'd welcome some opinions on how to help tie the interior together with the addition of the new seats.

Thanks as always for the help.

In addition to the black carpet I was thinking of replacing the carpet on the rear fire wall with black leather (white stitching to match new seats) or matching black alcantara?

Honestly I don't think you need to replace the carpet or the rear shelf. I think those seats will look awesome as they are with the black wheel and black dash. Might want to try them in a test fit before you rip out that carpet.

Congrats on the seats! Hope you didn't have to give up a kidney to get them. :)

    Thank you for your feedback.

Yes.. Definitely will get the seats in before making a decision on carpet. I just don't really like the Crema leather with the camel color carpet. Thought black would clean up the look of the interior a bit.

I'll post some pics once the seats are installed. Unfortunately gave up one kidney I think.. But there's just none of these out there. :/

Got these beauties installed last night and man.. What a difference! The installation didn't go quite as smoothly as I had hoped as I had to drill some holes for the mounting points on the tracks in the rear. Mine seemed to be a little bit different from the photos you guys posted but not a big deal.

Totally transformed my driving experience. Instead of crouching down and feeling as if my face is inches from the windshield you now sit nearly on the floor and I actually have to lower the steering wheel to get the best position. I measured the headroom before installing the new seats and gained a minimum of 2.5 inches. However, because of the shape of the seat and how much deeper you sit IN the seat that number is pretty conservative. I'd estimate a gain of 4 inches in all reality. I absolutely love it..

Thinking about black carpet and maybe doing the rear fire wall in alcantara with white stitching to match the seats. I'd love to hear some opinions though. Thank you to Skidkid and Sherpa for all the help. Although this was a big expense, I feel like it's the best mod I've ever done on any of my car as far as improving the driving experience.

    Those seats are sexy.
But if there's something that's throwing off the colors, it's the carpet.
