In truth, it was supposed to be an omelette and this was pre-flip. 😀 My omelette flipping skills suck, so it ended up as a frittata. T
Well when you get around to it give it a go. It really hit the spot but far from a great meal. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Gonna do some burgers tomorrow... TBT, I thought it was going to break in half when I first grabbed it in the bag with the tongs.
Thanks..... Had to show some people our building in Eastern Washington. So two hours work and the rest of the days off. Found a house for my aunt. She should be able to move in this weekend. We pre-loaded some of her stuff this morning. So its been McDonalds and pizza the last few days
Ugh now you reminded me of holiday inn breakfast... I had food but passed probably the only chick fil a in this area. Spicy chicken and waffle fries. Oh baby.
Always a safe bet! I was gifted a basil plant earlier this year and unlike many others I've had this one grows like a freaking weed! With that said, I have to harvest it every 5-7 days, hence all the pesto as of late: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
After all the traffic here about Chick Fil A, I tried it about a month ago. Exactly that meal. Not bad, for fast food. The spicy chicken has decent zing. Top tip for HI breakfast, Tamas, don't put a danish in the conveyor toaster oven. Intense sugar + intense heat = FIRE!! 😅 Saw an older gent do that at a Holiday Inn that I stayed at several years back...T
Steak on the grill tonight. No fancy sous vide. 😔 So, I had to do it the old fashioned way. Fire! 😀 Pecan wood, to be exact. 2 mins, rotate for hatch marks, 2 more mins. Then finish indirect for ~ 8 mins. I think next time, I'll try 1 min, rotate, 1 min, then 10 mins of indirect. It was a roughly 1.5" thick Costco prime strip. Came out ideal, even though a tad charred on one side. But, not too char-broiled. Closer to medium on thinner end of the strip (for the wife) closer to medium rare on the wider side (mine). Served with sauteed turnip greens, fresh corn and homemade apple chipotle relish. Nice red wine from Costco. T
